Apurimac Canyon - At 3:30 a.m., the guide will collect the group from their accommodation for a 3.5-hour drive to Capuliyoc, where breakfast will be served with a view of the Apurimac Canyon. The journey begins with a 4-hour downhill hike through Chikisca, followed by an additional hour to cross the Apurimac River. Afterward, there will be a 2-hour ascent to Santa Rosa for lunch and a short rest. The day concludes with another 2-hour climb to Marampata, where dinner will be served and the night will be spent, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery.

Marampata - Choquequirao - Marampata.

Choquequirao Ruins - At dawn, following a hearty breakfast, the group will embark on a 1.5-hour walk to Choquequirao, a significant Inca citadel. This day promises to be filled with exploration, allowing ample time to appreciate the various structural elements of this ancient site. There will also be a chance to observe unexcavated architectural remains, hidden beneath lush vegetation. At the end of the day, the group will return to Marampata for dinner and an overnight stay. Meals included: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Marampata - Capuliyoc - Cusco

Cachora - Today’s trek will challenge endurance, so a nutritious and energizing breakfast will be provided before starting a 2-hour descent to the Apurimac River. After crossing the river, the group will ascend to Chikisca, where a delicious lunch will be enjoyed before continuing the steep hike to Capuliyoc, a stunning viewpoint, taking approximately 5 hours. As the ascent continues, breathtaking views of the Apurimac Valley will unfold. Finally, transportation back to Cusco will be provided in a private vehicle. Meals included: breakfast and lunch.
