This tour will start at Coach Bay A on Leeman Road, Opposite the Memorial Gardens at 9:00 AM.
The pickup point is a 5 minute walk from York Railway Station. Please note the tour will leave promptly at 09:00 so please arrive on 5 minutes early.

Lakes District, North York Moors & Yorkshire Moors from York - Excellent trip. Tour guide, Lee, from York though Moors & Dales to Lakes District & return was brilliant. Spent most of day with Lee. He was great! Friendly, informative, personable & thoughtful. Lisa who took us through Lakes District very good too. Very much enjoyed our day & the sights.

Lake District - Great tour. JJ our guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the area. Even though the weather wasn’t the most cooperative I’m glad I went. Very enjoyable.

Excellent day out - Despite the quirky English summer - four seasons in one day, this was an excellent day out in the Yorkshire Dales and the southern Lakes District. Both drivers (JJ and Jane) were very informative without being over the top and had great driving skills, knowing all the back roads to avoid the traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Great day trip - We enjoyed this trip immensely and the two guides we had during the day were excellent! The Lake Windermere cruise was lovely however unfortunately had a little rain so visibility was a little limited. The tour was well organised and ran smoothly from beginning to end. Great way to see the Yorkshire area with lots of history explained along the way

Lake District from York - The drivers / guides were very personable and knowledgeable about the Yorkshire area and the Lake District. It was a lot of driving for a day - but worth it. Loved the visit to Hilltop. Too bad the house is closed on Fridays

Excellent, cosy tour that covered loads of places! - I didn't think we'd get to see so much in a day, but this tour really packs a lot in without making us feel too rushed or tired. I loved that the tours are kept relatively small; there were only about 8 people in our group so it was peaceful and we didn't spend loads of time waiting for each other. The guides are excellent, sharing plenty of information, stories and history during the drives; and super friendly and helpful too. There was a great mix of places we visited, both along the Yorkshire Dales and within the Lake District itself, and we got to see some really spectacular sites along the way. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who can't afford to spend too much time travelling but would still like to see a very special, beautiful part of England.

Traveling through Yorkshire Dales to the Lake District!! - We met our group near the train station in York, and set out across the Yorkshire Dales. We had a chance to see the beautiful scenery as we drove and stopped in a pretty village for a break. The highlight for me was visiting Hilltop Farm where Beatrix Potter lived and wrote her Peter Rabbit books!! It was a magical place to visit and I was able to find treasures for my grandkids in their giftshop! We stopped in another village for lunch and a chance to explore. I really enjoyed this tour and our guide was informative and fun!

Excellent Tour, my wife and I really... - <p>Excellent Tour, my wife and I really enjoyed it, we departed York exactly on time, and spent the morning driving cross country and visiting a small Abbey and town on the way to Windermere. There we went to several spots including Beatrix Potter House, We enjoyed it a lot and the tour ended with a breathtaking trip o a boat on Windermere lake. From York we were only 5 passengers, and it felt very private and personal.</p>

This tour was very interesting and... - <p>This tour was very interesting and informative as was the Yorksire Highlands tour that I took the following day. The guides / drivers are helpful and enthusiastic. A great way to see the area. I have not gone on a Viator tour, even though with many different local companies, that I did not enjoy and appreciate.</p>

Wonderful scenery - Enjoyed the trip and wonderful scenery. However, we were disappointed that we could not access Beatrix Potter's home as this was one of the main reasons for going.and It was mentioned on the itinerary.. Both drivers/guides were pleasant and informative. A very long day but I guess it couldn't be avoided as there was a lot of ground to cover.
