Very informative and great after visiting the museum. - Unfortunately we missed the Tuesday sailing and thankfully the staff rebooked us for Thursday. It was well worth it. The staff was very informative and entertaining. To experience the route that Donald took that fateful day was a moving experience. We had visited the Ruskin museum prior and saw the restored Blue bird boat. So everything tided in.

A wonderful time on the lake - We booked to go on the cruise on Tuesday but the weather was appalling, the company rang me to say the cruise was cancelled, would I like a refund or rebook, we chose a rebook and the company sent out new tickets, we went on the Thursday and the weather was gorgeous, the boat was lovely with plenty of room for everyone, some with disabilities who were helped on and off the boat by the very friendly & helpful crew, nothing was too much trouble for them. Natalie drove the boat while Dave told us the stories of Donald Campbell and his attempts at the World water speed records on Lake coniston, it was most interesting see the markers on the lakeside to measure the speed. Dave also told us about various places and people connected with the lake which kept us interested and amused. We'll done Nat for driving the boat so we'll and Dave for all the information on the Campbells & of lake Coniston you both made our time on the lake we will never forget.

Super Coniston boat trip - We booked this trip as we all love Coniston but haven’t been on a boat there. It was a gorgeous day, the lake was still, sun was shining and the tour was great. It was really interesting not just to hear about Donald Campbells story but all sorts of facts about the lake and surrounding area too. The crew were really friendly and knowledgeable and answered any questions. We’d definitely do this again!

Campbell Cruise - We were looking for something to do on our last full day of our week in the lakes and happened to stumble on this cruise We booked via the tourist information centre for the 4pm cruise. Nat and Dave welcomed everyone on board. Dave was so informative and it was very interesting to sit back and listen The scenery is amazing too. Dogs are welcome but cannot sit on the seats. They can sit on the floor. Being a towel or a dog mat with you for them to lie on to make them A bit more comfortable.

Campbells on Coniston cruise - Friendly and informative experience, well worth the money so put into place what we had previously read about and seen on film. And the weather was kind to us as well!

A fascinating and informative cruise - An absolutely fantastic cruise around Coniston Water, with a very knowledgeable and informative guide. We would thoroughly recommend the trip and enjoyed it so much that we now intend to also do the Swallows and Amazons Cruise. It was great being able to use our tickets earlier in the day as well and we took the Yellow Route down to Sunnybank, walking back to Coniston.

Disappointing - We were disappointed in not boarding the boat pictures on the tickets, the boat we went on was fibreglass and had seen better days. The staff looked bored. I thought we would have the opportunity to get off 3 times on the yellow route but the boat only stopped once.
