Wonderful time with Moses at Ingapirca - Moses was fantastic! My parents only speak English and were able to understand him perfectly. He drove safely to Ingapirca and back, and it was a lovely scenic drive. Definitely worth the time and money!

Informative, delicious, and memorable! - We very much enjoyed our tour with Christian - he is very knowledgeable of Ecuador's history and was very kind and respectful to the places and people we visited. Our group included both Spanish and English speakers, and we were beyond impressed with Christian's ability to lead the tour in both languages, doubling as a language lesson for us as we listened closely to both versions of storytelling. We learned about some of Ecuador's history while visiting Ingapirca and Cerro Yanacauri and marveling at their historic structures. We also enjoyed delicious local foods and the opportunity to observe a local parade celebrating 24 years of Cañar being declared the cultural and archaeological capital of Ecuador. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful country with us!

Ingapirca with a fun and well informed guide - We spent the day birdwatching and visiting Ingapirca. Our guide Edison was fantastic. We learned so much! The information he shared was so valuable and was presented in a manner that brought history to life! We sampled some local foods and beverages; he also treated us to a delicious lunch which we ate outdoors. Highly recommended!

Enjoyable Day Trip to Ingapirca and the Sanctuary of the Virgin of El Rocío - My wife and I booked a private tour with Polylepis Tours, and Diego our English speaking guide was excellent. He provided a great deal of information so we could fully understand the history of the site, the vegetation and their uses, the wild life, and also the past and present cultures of Cuenca and broader Ecuador. We enjoyed Diego's company and the trip very much.

Super informative private tour with Edison, Polylepis Tours - We had an amazing and educational adventure with Edison, of Polylepis Tours. We hired him for a private tour of the Ingapirca Ruins, in late November 2024. First, we visited a beautiful church on the way, then the ruins, including a walk to a viewpoint of the Inca face, then an authentic Ecuadorean (delicious) lunch, then back to Cuenca. Edison (Ed) was a fount of information regarding Ingapirca, Cuenca, and Ecuador- including ancient and modern history, archeology, and natural history esp. the flora and birds. Ed’s English is very good, and he has a facility for tailoring information to the level and quantity desired. Highly recommended!
