Hanoi - Night Train to Lao Cai

Hanoi Railway Station - The tour guide will collect guests at 21:00 from their hotel and escort them to Hanoi Railway Station for an overnight train journey to Lao Cai. This offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the scenic views outside.

Guests are advised to have their luggage ready in the hotel lobby to ensure a smooth and swift transfer to the station.

Sapa - Y Linh Ho - Lao Chai - Ta Van Village

Ga Lào Cai - Arrive at Lao Cai Railway Station between 5:30 and 6:00. Start the day early with a refreshing breath of Northwest Vietnam’s air. A one-hour bus ride will then take guests uphill to the charming town of Sapa. During this journey, guests can relax or admire the stunning views of Sapa, with its mountains and clouds resembling cotton candy in the morning light.

Upon arrival in Sapa town, guests can leave their larger luggage at the hotel and enjoy a light breakfast before embarking on the trekking adventure.

Once energized, a local guide will meet guests at the hotel to commence the trekking journey.

Muong Hoa Valley - Trek along trails for 6km towards Lao Chai village, a hidden gem in Muong Hoa Valley, where guests can learn about the customs and culture of the Giay and Black Hmong ethnic groups.

Y Linh Ho - After a 3km trek at the base of the slope, guests will catch a glimpse of the wild and beautiful Y Linh Ho village on the mountainside, surrounded by long-standing terraced fields. Visitors can also observe traditional weaving and textile production.

Take a break to savor the specialties of Northwest Vietnam for lunch.

Ta Van Village - After recharging, continue to Ta Van village, a neighboring village shrouded in mist. It boasts rustic beauty with wooden houses amidst vast terraced fields. Guests may also encounter the Giay community while crossing a swaying rattan bridge. These are truly unforgettable moments not found in urban areas.

After exploring these unique villages, trek back to Sapa town to check into the hotel. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing after the morning’s excursion, preparing for an evening in Sapa Town with street food or local performances.

Cat Cat - Sin Chai - Sapa - Hanoi

Cat Cat Village - Enjoy a relaxing breakfast at the hotel and check out before embarking on the second day of trekking.

Today’s trek is lighter. Depart for Cat Cat village, approximately 3km from the town, and immerse in the breathtaking waterfall and the remnants of a hydroelectric power plant built by the French during their colonial period in Vietnam.

Sin Chai Village - Trek an additional 2km to Sin Chai Village on the slopes of Fansipan Mountain, promising stunning scenery that will captivate even the most stoic visitors.

Sapa - Return to the main road for 3km, where a jeep will transport guests back to Sapa town. Take a final moment to admire the beauty of Sapa before embarking on a 6-hour shuttle bus journey to Hanoi. Arrive at the hotel in Hanoi in the early morning and enjoy a restful sleep after check-in.

Hanoi - Halong Bay Overnight Cruise

Dự Án Heritage West Lake - Experience the fresh morning air in Hanoi with breakfast at the hotel. Check out before the transfer arrives around 8:00 - 8:30 to take guests to the World Natural Heritage Site, Halong Bay. The journey takes 2.5 hours on the highway, with a rest stop along the way.

Upon arrival at the waiting lounge, guests will be warmly welcomed by staff and checked in. Transfer to a speedboat/tender for the Halong Bay cruise; during this time, the cruise manager will provide a brief overview of Halong Bay and the itinerary while guests enjoy views of the charming islets on the green water.

Halong Bay - Board the cruise around 12:00 - 12:15, where a friendly captain and crew will welcome guests with safety instructions and a welcome drink, and guests will receive their room.

A delicious seafood lunch is served in the restaurant. After the meal, guests can take a short break before engaging in the exciting bay activities.

Afternoon

Following the cruise itinerary, guests can challenge themselves with kayaking, explore caves to see stalactite formations, or interact with fishers at the floating market.

Return to the cruise for relaxation, and try cooking Vietnamese spring rolls in the Chef’s cooking class. From 17:00 - 17:30, enjoy “Happy Hour,” with a “Buy one get one drink” offer, while waiting for the romantic sunset over the bay.

Halong Bay - Savor a delightful dinner at the restaurant.

Halong Bay - Morning

Wake up early to witness a spectacular dawn scene. Around 6:00, a Tai Chi class is available for early risers to refresh and enhance their well-being.

A light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries is served before continuing the exploration of Halong Bay with exciting water activities like swimming in the green water, kayaking, or caving, following the itinerary.

Return to the cruise for brunch and prepare to check out around 10:00 - 10:30 while cruising towards the port, passing beautiful rock formations. The captain and crew warmly bid farewell to all guests and transfer them to the tender to reach the pier.

Tuan Chau Island - Disembark around 11:30; the transfer will be ready to take guests back to their hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. If guests have a flight, they should arrange a transfer directly to the airport with their travel consultant.
