You will come to 200 NE US Highway 19 to begin the process of the Manatee tour. We will get you suited up and ensure you watch a Manatee Safety video and from there we will transport you via van to our docks to board the boat for your tour.

Amazing encounter with these gentle animals! - I travelled with my husband, two teenage boys and my mother (who has trouble walking). I stayed on the boat with my mother to enjoy the views and watch manatees from above. Leah and Todd were amazing.. friendly, knowledgeable and always smiling. The entrance to the boat was flush with the dock, so no steps to get on. There is a small ladder to go into the water. They made sure we were all comfortable. They provided wet suits, snorkel and mask and a "noodle" floatation to help stay afloat, towels and bonus... hot drinks including hot chocolate, tea or coffee. You can bring snacks on board if you are just observing. The boat is also sheltered and a heater is available if it gets too cold. But I think want made it special was the wonderful memories we have with the great pictures that Leah took with her underwater camera. The boys were able to see lots of manatees including mom and baby!! These are included with the tour. Thanks Leah and Todd for ag great experience. Highly recommend!

Magic! - Our swim was nothing short of magic! Sean and Captain Mike knew the best spots to take us and shared their knowledge of not only manatees and their behavior, but also the area in general. I can’t recommend them enough! Sean took great pictures as we swam! This is a great tour for families! Sean and Captain Mike were great with our 9yo. Crystal River Manatee Adventures is the best!

5 star manatee adventure - Amazing experience! Captain Mike and Shawn were great! We saw several manatees and have awesome pictures as a memory. The boat was enclosed with plastic that kept us warm. When we got out of the water, Captain Mike even made us hot chocolate. Everything was included (towels, wetsuit, goggles, and snorkel). Would definitely recommend this adventure!

5 stars! Cannot wait to go again! - Our captain took us right to the best spot! Leah our guide was absolutely amazing and very compassionate for the manatees. She kept us near the manatees, got amazing shots, and educated us on the wildlife. While we were in the water Leah realized a manatee was in distress. She took the needed photos/videos and called the FWC to report the manatee needing help! I have been in love with manatees since I was a child. This was an amazing experience and one I would do over and over again!

Amazing! - Such an amazing experience! The temperature outside was freezing, but this tour had me covered (literally). This covered boat with a heater was a lifesaver. (Water was quite warm though). Saw loads of manatees, enjoyed hot drinks, and the guides were super knowledgeable. They made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! - These people were absolutely amazing. The group was small both times and the guide was very helpful in keeping us together while taking pictures and videos of the tour. What was even nice is they even allowed my dog on the boat saving me kenneling charges allowing me to even go on another tour. If I had the time I would go with them everyday.

Shawn and Captain Todd are the GOATS - Shawn and Todd were amazing. Needed to reschedule our tour due to weather and Todd got us scheduled the very next am. Shawn gave us more information than I ever knew I needed about manatees. Once we got in the water Shawn was quick to calm the fears of the water even with the girlfriend’s inability to swim. Shawn was almost like a manatee with his ability to find them and show us their ways. I would recommend this 7 days a week and 2 times on Sunday! Spectacular experience and guides when it comes to knocking things off the bucket list!

Best for Your Money - In Crystal River, you have a ton of tour operators for manatee swims. I’m really glad I chose this one. Especially if you want to include photos in your experience, it is well worth it. Many operators charge their price but not include photos. Go with this one. Nice crew of people too. Casual easy going and very interested in whatever you want to get out of your experience. I would definitely do this again, and I’m certain I would go with them again.

Small group experience, heated boat, awesome guides! - Great service, very personable, knowledgable employees. All the manatee tours in Crystal River feel like a well connected industry but this group shines with their small tour sizes, well equipped, heated boats, and awesome staff. When you see the sea of snorkels getting off a boat, it feels better to be only 1 or 6 on your tour. Highly recommend and will use this outfitter again when in the area.

15/10!!! - My wife and I brought 4 of our kids (16. 12, 11 and 22 months - the youngest got in the water for a few but didn't go snorkeling, just accompanies us, and the 11/12 year olds were very scared). The guide and captain was extremely accommodating and helpful, and very patient with us. This has been a bucket list item for us for years and I'm glad we finally did it! Well worth the time/money and our guide found the best spots for us.
