The entire tour is dedicated to what everyone loves most: exploring the abundant nature and wildlife in and around Kings Bay! Each swim tour includes an in-water naturalist guide to assist your group and answer any questions along the way. While conditions can vary daily, the goal is to swim at two locations per tour and spend the rest of the time exploring King’s Bay and its many springs by boat. The team enjoys getting to know each valued guest and always provides education about the area’s history, ecosystem, and wildlife. Even if you’re new to snorkeling, relax and enjoy the experience—it’s all on manatee time!

At Manatees in Paradise, the company is a small, family-owned business with a deep passion for wildlife and the environment. Established in 2005 by dedicated manatee rescue volunteers, the focus has always been on protecting the declining manatee population by offering the finest educational and animal-friendly tours.
The ambition has never been to have the largest fleet of boats on the water. Instead, the aim is to minimize impact, which is why only small tours are offered. Proudly, the company is one of only two Guardian Guides with Save the Manatee Club!
Whether or not a tour is booked with us, we kindly request that everyone respects the manatees and their space, avoiding crowding or disturbing them. Any tour company that encourages petting wild manatees contributes to an ongoing local issue. Snorkeling with the manatees is a joy, but it is important to always be mindful not to disrupt their natural behavior. They can also be observed beautifully from the boat, making it a truly magical adventure whether in the water or out!
