Captain Tommy the Manatee Maven - A wonderful experience. Captain Tommy is extremely knowledgeable. He is very entertaining and able to answer any question while citing statistics to back up his answers. He constantly interacts with virtually everyone on the water and is sincerely concerned that not only his passengers but everyone on the bay has a positive experience.

Amazing - We had the best time on this tour. Laid back and intimate with only 4 people on the tour. We had amazing weather paired with a low tide which lead to amazing manatee sightings. Tommy was very informative teaching us so much and answering all our questions. It truly felt like having your own personal local tour guide. Relaxing, fun wildlife experience - We enjoyed the 7 a.m. tour. The weather was great and the fog provided a nice sunrise glow. We saw several manatee, cormorants diving for needle fish, several pelicans, a heron and an egret. We were very fortunate to see a manatee mother and calf. Tommy was an excellent guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable, providing a relaxing, fun experience.

Fabulous - Tommy was an absolute pleasure as our host and guide. We rented a private pontoon and were pleasantly surprised at all the information he shared with us. Not only about where we were going but the all round eco information about manatees and their behaviors but history & habitat. Highly recommend Tommy for family tours as kids could learn so much about these docile creatures. Great tour, great guide - Wow, Tommy is great! Super knowledgeable and friendly, and so conscientious of the manatees and the wildlife. I cannot recommend him enough. I kept his business card so when I go again next year, I can book with him again.

Terrific experience with this tour! - My husband and I made a last minute decision to go to Crystal River to see manatees. From the first call, to the actual boat tour to the end, Captain Tommy B was terrific to work with. He is very knowledgeable about the history of the area, the wildlife and gave us a great recommendations for lunch at Waterfront Social. The boat was well maintained and clean and he offered bottled water. He certainly kow how to handle the boat and find the manatees! We saw at least 100 plus a great blue heron bathing and an osprey diving for fish. Highly recommend!

Amazing Manatee experience. - From the moment we met Tommy B till the end of the trip 2 hours later, we had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend his tour! We got lucky in that conditions were terrific for manatee sightings, and we probably saw between 100 and 200 of them (dozens of mother/calf combos), and that won’t always be the case, but Tommy is an excellent speaker and he could make it an enjoyable experience even with far fewer manatees. Comfortable boat. Great day!
