Amazing adventure to the Baths and snorkeling! - Baths were amazing to see and beautiful, there’s a crowd and a wait to carefully maneuver through the caves. Nice crew and boat. The snorkeling at Indian was amazing!!! Of course the open bar at the end is always welcome. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Great trip - The beach at the Baths is beautiful. Unfortunately for us it was a red flag day so we didn’t get to experience the full water and caves. We also were it able to snorkel at Norman’s Island but did have some time snorkeling and swimming at Honeymoon Beach off St John. The Captain and Crew were amazing.

Great day despite not great weather. - The staff and captain were awesome. Just so happened we couldn’t snorkel near Virgin Gorda as planned due to choppy water but they brought us back to St. John and we snorkeled there. The boat was super clean and we had a great day!!

Trip to unique site on BVI - Took the day trip to Virgin Gorda from St. John, highlights of which included The Baths on Virgin Gorda and snorkeling after lunch. A light breakfast consisting of fruits, egg cups, fried bread and juices were served. The crew pointed out landmarks, named all the islands we were passing for reference, and even provided a little history about some of the places, which was very interesting! It was however, often hard to hear them as they were yelling over the blaring music and sound of the boat engines. The experience at the Baths was unique! A short hike to the beach and rock formations and you were rewarded with scene straight off of a postcard! Breathtaking! The return hike was through a cave system which included some technical passages, extremely tight spaces and questionable stairways. NOT for the very young, weak, or elderly. Your group can only move as quickly as your slowest member, so some people got stuck doing a lot of waiting, and also had much less time to eat the lunch that was then served at the hike’s completion. Lunch was average, served in a small restaurant at The Baths site. The return trip was to include snorkeling, which was a big letdown. In my experience, snorkeling in the afternoon is never as good as snorkeling early in the morning, but this site barely even had fish or sea life to view. We were hardly in the water for 40 minutes and were being called back to the boat. If you do this trip, do not do not have high expectations for the snorkeling experience. The crew could ask whether the passengers have been on a boat before, or mention tips to help prevent seasickness, which would go a long way toward showing genuine concern for the safety and health of the passengers. Good selection of drinks onboard for the return trip. Gave this tour a 4, because it’s definitely not a 3, but has some improvements to make before I would call it a 5.

A disappointment, Better options. - Expect a greater portion of your day on the boat, one hour and forty five minutes each way where the engine noise drowned out most music and conversation, depending on where you were seated. Additionally, there is no mention of the time spent on the return voyage at customs. Once arriving at the Baths, you may get 5-15 minutes at each swimming location. This depends heavily on the make up of your surrounding group (s). Reason for this is many points of the "relaxing" hike are not for thoes of low dexterity or limited mobility. I would suggest not waiting in line at the first stop souvenir stand. You may not get a chance for a dip. The snorkeling was nice at the stop, the continental breakfast was sub-par and the drinks were fine. The captain and the two man crew were pleasant but, an additional member would make for a better service experience with all that needs to be done. This is a more expensive excursion and if our party of four had taken the private catamaran option, for nearly the same costs, it may have been a better experience. Overall, I would say there are better choices for the money.

Not at all as described - I have been on many excursions with snorkeling trips in many places. I was excited to be doing this trip because it was going straight out from the Westin where we were staying. The description says 3 hours at The Baths, 1 hour at Spanish Town, and 1 hour for Snorkeling at the Caverns on Norman Island. It also describes an eight and a half hour day. You will spend an hour and 45 minutes riding to the first stop. You then will ride a shuttle to the Baths. We were told there was an hour hike to the beach. My friend has a bad knee and struggled. We were only permitted to stop at the first beach for 5 minutes and the Baths for about 15 minutes. We spent most of that time waiting in line for a drink and a small souvenir. Then we were whisked off to climb back up where we were given 40 minutes to wait for our food and eat before shuttled back to the boat. It was not at all what I had envisioned. We left port at 8 am and got into Virgin Gordon at 9:45. Lunch was at 11:15 and we had to leave by 11:50. That is literally an hour and a half at the baths where you spend a 2/3 of it or more hiking to the water. Then 40 min at Spanish town. That is half the time it describes in the details at this location. Snorkeling was nice and beautiful. It went way too fast and then for the remains hour or so back there was an open bar. We had to put clothes on so we could go through customs at Cruz Bay after all of this. It was only 7 1/2 hours total and about half of it was spent driving to and from. For the price it was a huge let down considering the 4 of us could have rented a private boat for the same price … $1500.
