• Omaha Beach - Proceed to Omaha Beach and traverse 8 kilometers of coastline facing the English Channel. At the shore, you will encounter a sculpture called Les Braves ‘The Braves’ in honor of the soldiers who fought in the war. A nearby museum is available for an optional visit.
• Cimetiere Americain de Colleville-sur-Mer - Continue the tour to the Normandy American Cemetery to pay tribute to the battle’s fighters. In 2019, President Macron and President Trump jointly visited the cemetery in honor of the 75th anniversary of D-Day. You can also visit the visitor center for a detailed exhibition about the war.
• Sainte-Mere-Eglise - Explore Sainte-Mère-Église, a town in Normandy, which was one of the first to be liberated during the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944. Paratroopers from the U.S. 82nd Airborne Division landed in the area, with some unintentionally dropping into the town itself.

A notable event involved paratrooper John Steele, whose parachute caught on the church steeple; he pretended to be dead before escaping German capture. After intense fighting, the Allies secured the town by morning.
