Amazing snorkel adventure - This trip was amazing. We all had a wonderful time and half of our group did not swim well. The crew made everyone feel comfortable and confident. Those of us who were strong swimmers were able to explore and it was amazing. The starfish were a wonderful site to see and I can’t believe how many there were. Schools of fish were able to be seen deeper over the reef and the drop off was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every moment and did not want it to end.

An incredible excursion! - What a great excursion! We had a private driver for our group of three. Shonda was a gem. She was very welcoming and had a wealth of knowledge about the local culture. We were luckily able to hold the sloths, which may not be possible in the near future. Bruno and his team were great navigating the 3 snorkel stops. They kept us hydrated and provided light snacks. The 400ft reef drop off was incredible! Roatan 5-stars truly lives up to their name!

Great snorkeling experience! Star fish were amazing! - Joshua and Hubert were wonderful! Snorkeling sites were really 2 (combined Starfish area with the deep drop off Blue Channel) and were very close to the boat dock so no long boat ride to the snorkeling. Choose this tour for the snorkeling and not for the boating experience. We were of a group of 7 and got a fantastic private experience. Fruit, water, local sweet bread and a couple beers were perfect snacks.

Must do snorkel in Rotan - Found 6 legged starfish, sea turtles, about 14 types of fish, beautiful coral reef and the 400 foot cliff abyss, an interesting shipwreck... then on to see the sloths and parrots and monkeys.. it was a great day..

Unforgettable Roatan Adventure – Safe, Fun, and Absolutely Worth It! - From the moment we stepped out of Mahogany Bay and met our driver, JB, we felt completely safe and well taken care of. JB was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our first stop was the sloth, monkey, and parrot sanctuary, and because we were the first group there, the animals were highly interactive! The monkeys were playful, the parrots were vocal, and the sloths were adorable. By the time we left, the line was stretching into the parking lot—so arriving early was a huge plus. Next, JB took us to the dock where we boarded a spacious double-decker boat for snorkeling. While we waited for the other group to arrive it gave us plenty of time to sunscreen up and lay out on the top deck of the boat and listen to music. I was impressed they wanted to wait for them. If I were in their shoes, I’d want the boat to wait for me too. This is a vacation—just relax and enjoy the moment! The crew was top-notch—three guides and a captain ensured our safety at all times. One guide was always in the water with us, leading us through a mesmerizing tour of the reef, a shipwreck, and the breathtaking drop-off. If someone was unable to dive down to retrieve a sea star they were happy to bring them to you as long as they were kept underwater. The underwater views were stunning, and the guides made sure we got the most out of our time in the water. After snorkeling, we were treated to fresh watermelon, homemade banana bread, and delicious local juice—such a thoughtful touch! To top off an already perfect day, JB offered to take us to a local restaurant just outside the Port of Roatan. Those who didn’t want to join were dropped off first, but I highly recommend going! The food was incredible. I had the best jerk chicken, and my husband loved his fried red snapper paired with a refreshing local beer. The restaurant also offered zip-lining, and the views from the top deck were stunning. JB even joined us for lunch, and his company made the experience even better. His hospitality and knowledge of the island truly made this excursion unforgettable. If you’re looking for a safe, well-organized, and exciting adventure in Roatan, this is it!

3 stop snorkel trip - The snorkeling experience was great. The boat and crew were fantastic. I would have liked to have known in advance that we would be picked up by a driver in their private car. It seemed strange to me after so many other Viator excursions when we are in a van as a group traveling to the start location.

Would definitely go again (hopefully in smaller group) - We had an amazing time!! We got to be one of the first groups to the animals so we were able to see them when they were excited to interact with people. The monkeys were so cute and fun our whole group couldn't stop giggling. The sloths were so cute and the birds were beautiful. Our snorkeling excursion was super fun. We got to see star fish, the reef and the ship wreck. My only complaint was that we started with a small group of 10 people and our guide asked if we wanted to stay in our small group and we all said yes. Then when we were walking to the boat the snorkeling guides said we had to take the bigger boat and wait for an hour for the rest of the guests to come. Then it felt like our snorkeling time was cut short maybe 30 minutes at each stop to catch up for the hour of waiting. It was also kind of hard to keep an eye on the guide in the water with such a large group. It was kinda disappointing to have them switch on us last minute like that. We did have a great time though. They even stopped and let us jump off of the top deck of the boat a few times and provided drinks and watermelon and banana bread.
