PADDYWAGON 10/01 - WOW is what we have to say. Richard, our driver, made it all happen. He was the best. The tour was perfectly paced and we heard so much interesting history and personal stories. Music was great (singing welcome). Nothing but great things to say about Richard. Awesome experience.

We had a lovely time on... - We had a lovely time on the trip. Our only regret was not being able to spend some more time in the area. Our driver was helpful and added useful information on the trip. We took the afternoon tour and due to limited daylight we needed to hustle to see everything. We were able to do everything with our 3 kids, including stroller.

A definite must - This was a wonderful trip. The drive there was so lovely. The scenery was gorgeous and the guide/bus driver was very knowledgable and pointed out interesting snippets along the way. The bus was comfortable, and Wicklow was beautiful. The walk in nature was just so refreshing and wonderful And looking at the monastery ruins was fascinating. The museum was great with the highlight being the labyrinth rock, which even on its own was well with the trip. The trip back was lovely in the dark with all the Christmas lights through the small towns on the way home. I highly recommend this trip with Paddywagon which a professional and reliable company to work with.

Good times - We went to the lake, had a nice hike to the upper lake, saw a cool old graveyard. Sean gave a lot of info about the site and Ireland in gener. Had a great time!

Zeer tevreden - The trip was really amazing and so interesting, not just because of the mountains but the entire experience. Mr. Alex is a very nice man—responsible, funny, and very knowledgeable about all the places we visited. I truly enjoyed it and give the trip a 10!

You need to be able to... - You need to be able to walk a reasonable distance to get the most out of the Glendalough visit. From the visitor centre the route to the top lake is 1.4km.

Winclow is a heart - It is enjoyable to listen to all the anecdotes, recommendations and humorous touches of the driver guide during this tour. The landscapes of the Winclow Mountains are superb. And the arrival at this historic site and these natural lakes are soothing. On the other hand, this excursion would strongly deserve to add 1 hour or even 2 hours to really have time to do a hike that allows you to appreciate a high point of view at the Peak and not be in the race to return on time to the departure bus. These landscapes deserve to be observed in peace !

Very bad - I had a disappointing experience with Paddywagon Tours. After being left without a guide at Glendalough and returning 5 minutes late, we discovered the bus had already left. Another driver we approached was unhelpful and mocked us instead of assisting. Thankfully, Quiggs from Finn McCools Tours came to our rescue, offering us a free ride to Kilkenny and a guided tour, completely turning our day around. While I wouldn’t recommend Paddywagon for their lack of support, I highly commend Quiggs for his kindness and professionalism.
