A Great Way to Enjoy and Learn about Dublin - This tour was superb, and our guide, Fergus, was the primary reason we had such a memorable experience. Officially recognized for his exceptional knowledge and history of Ireland and its history, people, and culture, Fergus shared keen insights about each place along the tour and provided candid perspectives regarding lingering questions or issues that cannot be fully addressed through historical research and records. Visiting the Book of Kells Exhibition and the library was a particularly exceptional experience. Fergus did a wonderful job of sharing and summarizing the background and key information regarding the Book of Kells as well as the other stops on this tour. He also recommended where to go in Dublin to experience authentic Irish music, food, and entertainment. This tour requires a lot of walking, but if you are up for it. take this tour! Highly recommend it.

Wear comfortable walking... - Wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared to stand a lot. The tour allows plenty of time at St. Patrick’s Cathedral and at Trinity College, where the Book of Kells is. The long hall at the library was impressive, the Book of Kells not so much. Our guide, Ferguson was very personable and knowledgeable and the meeting place was easy to find.

Great tour. - Our guide Neal was extremely knowledgeable and informative. We especially loved St. Patrick's Cathedral and the Long Room at Trinity College. We felt extremely fortunate to see the Long Room, even though it was empty of most of the books in preparation for refurbishment.

The Best! - We toured with Fergus today. He was great, really knowledgeable, relatable, and quite funny! He made it a fun engaging experience that you could ask questions about Dublin/Irish history. Maybe pack some snacks and water if you have young kids, but otherwise.. prepare to enjoy and wear comfy sneakers!
