Experience, knowledge and laughter - I'm so glad I went on this tour because it was full of beauy and knowledge. The tour guides made sure we had what we needed to be comfortable, they gave us information and insight with humor and clarity, and we ended the day with song.

Wonderful! - Derek-the driver and tour guide, was FANTASTIC! Lots of fun; went out of the way to make the day a great one. Great bus ride out there; plenty to see and do. Plus-he sings!

This tour is the best! - Our tour guide/driver Flann was so knowledgeable about the ancient sites we visited, we learned so much! If you love ancient ruins and archeology, this tour is for you. You might also want to visit the National Museum of Archeology before or after the tour to deepen your experience. Highly recommend!

Awesome - I really enjoyed this tour! Our driver and guide was Alec; he was funny and very kind, knowledge of the history flew out with ease and answered all of our questions! This tour was well-paced and I (personally) never felt rushed. Loughcrew was very special and it’s worth the trek to the top!! It’s steep, but doable (I was working with a weight lifting injury in my hip and I just took several breathers, it was grand)

A megalithic experience you can't miss out on - Mathew was knowledgeable, good-humoured and so approachable, so I felt I was in great company. I loved a small group tour, it felt special and casual. My highlight of the tour was the Hill of the Witch/Cairn T (still my favourite site so far, even having seen Newgrange and Knowth). Breathtaking and stunning views up there, at Loughcrew.

Enjoy local history - While visiting Dublin we opted not to get a rental car so our travel agent set up this tour for us and it was wonderful! Our guide Alec was knowledgeable and easy to understand and when we were outside and he was speaking even my husband (who is hard of hearing) could hear him well and understand what was being said. Although we wished we might have had a little more time in each location we understood that the tour was squeezing in a lot for a day tour. We learned so much about the area, got some wonderful photos and it was nice not to have to worry about driving and be able to take in the scenery.

good in parts - and if... - good in parts - and if you get John for a guide, he is lovely and very entertaining we were much, much too long at a whisky distillery - the inclusion of it really didnt fit with the theme of ancient history in the Boyne Valley; I gather it was inextricably connected with lunch (which also took ages). I don't drink, and I would much rather have spent half an hour or an hour at Fore Abbey and got back to Dublin for a late lunch
