Amazing tour! - This adventure was way beyond our expectations with Rosbin as our guide. The chocolate/coffee tour was informative and fun...great chocolate and coffee! We loved Rosbin and Marcos enthusiasm. The trip and lunch in the rainforest was AMAZING! We truly enjoyed it. We have so many pictures of animals, including a baby sloth! We appreciate Rosbin spending all day with us and answering our several questions. He's a gem!

What a beautiful country - It was a fantastic time. The coffee and chocolate experience was delicious and there was a good number of insects, birds, as well as a couple of sloths and other animals. I would recommend it. The guide and local guides were fantastic and the lunch was good as well. It felt much more authentic than what we had been eating on the resort.

A Most Memorable Day! - Mainor was our guide for the day and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing about his home country. The drive from Dreams was over two hours to the tour site, but he kept it interesting with information about the local area and stopping to show us native species. The coffee and chocolate demonstrations were informative and included samples, perhaps most interesting was the sugar cane! The second part of the tour included the wildlife and seeing a sloth up close was a treat. Lunch was delicious and I recommend trying the traditional Costa Rican foods.

An Exceptional Wildlife Tour Experience - This was such a pleasant experience! The tour guides were extremely nice and genuinely eager to share their culture with us. They took extra care and time to get us as close to the animals as we could safely be, ensuring we had an unforgettable experience. The driver was absolutely phenomenal, going above and beyond to make our journey smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an immersive and well-guided adventure.

Can't Miss Tour! A Must Do! - Wow, what a fantastic tour! Out guide Mainor was amazing! We all were raving about how fantastic he was. The trip in the rainforest did not disappoint. We saw a baby sloth so close. Adorable! And snakes and lizards and tiny frogs. So so cool. The coffee and chocolate tour was informative and so fun! I loved learning how it was all made. Our local lunch afterwards was delicious and the view from the restaurant was stunning! Everyone we encountered was super friendly and welcoming. It was the best time! Thank you Mainor and Seven Sense Tours for an unforgettable experience! Pura Vida!

Mixed Feelings on This One - The highlight of this tour was a visit to a coffee and cacao farm where these delicacies went from farm to table before our eyes. The best part was biting into hot, freshly roasted 100% cacao! I can still taste it now! We took a guided nature walk in a forest. We saw red eyed tree frogs, blue jeans poison dart frogs, sloths high up in the trees, snakes, and a toucan. We also ate termites, crunchy and peppery. One aspect of this walk was extremely unsettling was that suddenly at the end of the half hour walk a sloth appeared hanging out in the open about six feet from the ground. The sloth was clearing "hung" there by a man who was standing nearby. While sloths are extremely slow, this sloth was not breathing or moving in the slightest. We would have seen this sloth at the start of the tour and there is no way that he could have come very far in just a half hour. Also, the sloth was very clean (no parasites, moths on the fur). It was either stuffed, fake, or a pet (if it was real). I took photos of the sloth and deleted them later because I was so sadden and disappointed that an organization would disrespect and take advantage of animals and guests in that way.

In the Jungle - Seeing a eye level baby sloth was amazing, seeing all the species of frogs and snakes was cool too. An awesome way to get into rain forest. Our guide spoke little english as he was still learning the language, that was the only reason the review wasn’t given five stars, Super Nice and as my wife knew enough spanish to sort of translate, it was helpful but felt as we missed some things he was talking about. Coffee&Choclate tour was amazing and everyone was super nice and friendly.

Overpriced, kids didn’t like coffee/chocolate part - I’m rating this trip as average although I recognize that the options for tours around Riu Guanacaste for small children are limited. The tour guides and drivers were nice, but more information about the itinerary would have been appreciated. The kids weren’t terribly interested in the coffee/chocolate part (combined at one location). The ride to the sloths/frogs part was 1.5 hours to get there and 2 hours to get back, but the short hike itself was less than 45 minutes. That said we did see two sloths, some cool frogs, a snake, and some type of weasel. The hike was on a small property near a coffee plantation. It was strange to drive so far to visit this small property. Also the AC in the back of the tour van/bus wasn’t working and half our group suffered through it.

DO NOT BOOK!!!! SCAM, MISSLEADING, & FALSE ADVERTISE! - Don't book this, it's a scam, misleading and false advertise. We were told it was 1.5 hour drive and we would be back at hotel at 3pm, when driver got there he told us it was going to be more Tham 3 hour drive and be back after 6. We could not attend this because of the real time frame and they did not refund us more than $500. Had to let my bank know about this and solve the issue because there is no way I was going to pay for something like that.
