This was a great... - This was a great experience. It was a 3 hour private van ride to location but it was worth it!! The walk to the waterfall was good and we saw an entire group of monkeys. There were 240 steps to go up and down right at the waterfall. The river rafting was so fun . Our ages ranged from 8-65 and we all loved it. At the animal sanctuary we saw a viber , frogs and sloths . Allen our guide and Mario our driver were awesome . Would do again!

An amazing tour - Our driver Alberto was helpful and reliable throughout the whole day trip. Our tour guide Manfred was an absolute gem - professional, friendly, engaging, and very knowledgeable and passionate about local wildlife and nature. We learned a lot of very interesting things and saw a variety of animals on the 2 hikes. The waterfall was beautiful and tubing was a lot of fun. Lunch at a local soda was delicious. Paying for the private tour was well worth it. It was an amazing day!

Fun combo tour! - Had a great day with our guide Michelle. Started with tour of sloth sanctuary. Saw lots of sloths! Also beautiful birds, monkeys, colorful frogs and a snake. Next was moderate hike to beautiful blue waterfall and great photo opportunity. Last was tubing in river with the same clean, blue water as the falls. Was a fun day for our group of 10 adults. Got lots of great photos.

Great Day - We had a fun filled day. Michelle our guide for the day and Harrison our driver, were great. The wildlife sanctuary was very interesting and Jessie our guide in the sanctuary was a wealth of information about the plants and the animals (snakes, frogs and sloths) in the sanctuary. The Rio Celeste waterfall is beautiful and the tubing was so much fun with G (Gerald) our tubing guide. Our nine year old loved all the activities. We had lunch at a local restaurant with delish authentic CR food. Michelle answered any questions we had throughout the day and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this little adventure.

Highlight of our trip - I booked this tour for myself, my husband and two kids (ages 6 & 9). I wasn’t sure what to expect, but it was everything we hoped it would be and more! The driver and guide picked us up at 7:15 AM from our hotel in a private van. Our guide, Allan, explained many things along the drive. It’s a long drive – about two hours – but it goes quickly when you were looking out the window and learning about Costa Rican wildlife, etc. Allan was very knowledgeable and clearly had a true passion for the local environment and wildlife. Our first stop was the wildlife conservation center. We went on a lovely short walk/hike and saw so many animals! We saw frogs, snakes, sloths, and even a toucan! The highlight was seeing a baby sloth climb its first tree right next to us. After that, we headed to the waterfall hike, which was beautiful, but a bit overcrowded. Of the three activities, I could’ve skipped the waterfall hike, but it was still fun and the waterfall is gorgeous. There are just tons of tourists. It did make me very grateful to be on a private trip, versus a large bus tour. Lastly, I was the tubing, which was more thrilling than I expected, and a lot of fun! My daughter was a little bit nervous at first, but even she started to enjoy it after realizing we weren’t going to tip over in the mini rapids. The water was a bit chilly in January, but manageable. I’d wear a rashguard or swim top to stay warm, if you have one. This is the rainforest and it did rain, but very gentle and warm. I would definitely recommend this to her. It’s a long day – about 12 hours in total – but was truly a highlight of our week in Costa Rica.

HIGHLY recommend. Worthwhile experience - Our group of 5 had a great time on the chocolate/coffee tour, hiking, waterfall, and tubing. Kenneth, the driver, came on time and got us to and from safely. Very friendly and stopped to show us animals/birds along the way. Alan was our tour guide for the day and he was very communicative and brought his telescope to help see the sloths and birds much clearer. He was super informative and made the day very enjoyable. Would HIGHLY recommend this tour group! We felt very comfortable and had the best time.

Amazing! - We had an AMAZING TIME. Allan was our tour guide and Kenneth was our driver. Both were phenomenal. Allan took sooo many good photos and was incredibly knowledgeable. Kenneth was a great driver and always around if we needed anything. This was the highlight of our trip!! The sloth sanctuary was amazing and we saw so many sloths. The hike and tubing were also amazing! Would recommend doing this tour. We went in November and got soo lucky with the weather. No rain at all either!
