• La Fortuna Waterfall - Situated within Arenal Volcano National Park, La Fortuna Waterfall enjoys temperatures between 18° and 35° Celsius, fostering lush vegetation and diverse wildlife. The waterfall is fed by the Fortuna River and its small tributaries, originating in the park’s mountains. Notable features include Cerro de los Perdidos, Placas de Mayo, and Cerro Chato, all supported by geologically significant rocky bases that enhance the area’s scenic beauty. The facilities include a small plaza, a viewpoint at the top of La Reserva, and accessibility for individuals with disabilities. From there, you can view La Catarata from 200 meters away. The route involves descending approximately 500 steps to reach the majestic Rio Fortuna Waterfall, where the tranquility and grandeur of nature allow you to enjoy its waters and the area’s scenic beauty.
