Worth it! - Exceeded our expectations, we saw so many howler monkeys and crocodiles. Too many birds to mention, the guide was very knowledgeable and personable.

The river cruise is... - The river cruise is really worth it. Lots of wildlife spotted. Boats are safe and the whole operation is well organised. We went in early March, dry season, no bugs!

Awesome Jungle Boat Tour - This tour was amazing and exceeded our expectations! Our guide, Walter, was very knowledgeable, articulate, funny and spoke good English. Not only did we learn a lot about Palo Verde National Park and its wildlife, but we also gained new insights into Costa Rica's people, economy and life style. We saw at least 20 crocodiles, two kinds of monkeys and numerous fascinating and beautiful birds. The pilot of the tour boat was good at spotting wildlife. The vans were comfortable and well air conditioned. Highly recommend this tour.

Don’t miss this. - If you liked the Disneyland Safari the you will love this.
This one is real and way better. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, and many other animals.

A must if you want to see wildlife - A jungle boat tour on the Tempisque River. We seen tons of crocodiles in and out of the water. We seen white face monkeys, we were so close one of them just about jumped on our boat. We also seen tons of beautiful birds but most amazing we seen a pair of macaws and we thought the crocs would be the main event.
Our final day was supposed to be a rest day but we were sold by Larry from On the Beach Tours with all the wildlife we would see. We booked the super early tour and we're on the river by 730am before all the other boats which allowed us to see more wildlife.
Tour also included breakfast at a nearby ranch. Authentic Costa Rican breakfast, super cool ranch.
Our guides and boat captain were also great and very informative.
We booked this tour at our hotel with On the beach Tours.

Adventure cruise - We did this tour with my elderly parents and my sibling and our spouses the jungle cruise was great it reminded us of the one at Disneyland except this is for real and so much better. The driver Juan was very safe and friendly. Our guide was Arturo he was very nice he even stopped in extra places for us to take pictures of some of the birds we saw definitely recommend this tour thank you for such a good time.

Sighting of monkeys - Long travel time to get there and back. No water provided. Might be worth it to take a tour with lunch provided as that would cut time without food and water.At the park, saw multiple crocodiles and capuchin monkeys but not much else but you can’t predict nature!

Missing a little detail on your explanations on this cruise such as how long it takes? By bus to get there Ultimately more time on the bus than on the boat or as much….Quality, price a little expensive

Nice Excursion! - It was a nice excursion. Not as much wildlife as anticipated. We did see a few crocs. Saw one white face and a couple of howler monkeys. Saw a few herons and egrets. The best part of the trip was on the bus ride back when we saw a Scarlet Macaw. No water was offered on the trip. Bring your own!
