Fun chocolate making tour - On our last day in La Fortuna, we took a chocolate tour at Eden plantation. Unlike other chocolate tours, this one was incredibly interactive. Not only did we tour the plantation, saw the different types of cacao plans that grow there, learned about each step of the processing of the Cacao seeds and finally, we made our own chocolate bars. Our guide was personable and made the learning experience extremely fun which in return made our tour very memorable. The plantation itself sit next to a river making for incredible pictures. Highly recommend this particular chocolate tour in La Fortuna!

Sightseeing musts - The full day tour was incredible. Our guide and driver (Eric and Edward) were kind, considerate and answered all questions. The scenery was lovely and I learned a great deal of history. I highly recommend this trip!

A nice tour - I thought the tour was very nice, never been to a volcano crater before BUT the volcano is dry...they sell the tour with a different image so many people think there's water in it, but overall was a nice experience. Very cold up there. And they took us to the Botanical Garden as well, a very nice and calm place.

Long day - It was a beautiful day and we were able to see the volcano (but there was no water). Unfortunately, it took almost 3 1/2 hours to get from our hotel (located in the Heredia Province) to the volcano. We only spent 1 3/4 hours there (instead of 2 hours) and then spent 15 minutes at the church (instead of 30 minutes). So, it ended up being 8 hours for us by the time that we got. Guide was informative but kept switching between English and Spanish every sentence. So, it was hard to follow sometimes.

Waisted money - Was a rainy, cold and cloudy day, did see anything. The fog was so thick. Guess it’s a hit or missed.

I feel cheated - I was to be picked up on October 5 at 7am and 1714 and 21 the day before I received a message that the plan was cancelled because there were not enough people to do so. Today, November 17th, no one has contacted me to return the money and I haven't found a way to contact
