Please meet the staff at the entrance of Dock Pantaloon No.3 in Puerto Colón Marina 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. There is plenty of parking available at the marina, costing approximately 1€ per hour. Additionally, there are restrooms and restaurants conveniently located at the marina.
Once aboard the custom-built 8-meter whale watching boat, guests will be introduced to the Captain and receive a brief safety orientation. The Marine Biologist staff will then provide insights into the local marine ecosystem and the cetacean species (whales and dolphins) that are likely to be seen. Educational materials are provided to enhance learning about these animals.
The Captain will navigate to the current prime location for observing whales and dolphins, typically within 3 miles of the shore. Upon reaching the area, the Captain will slow the boat to carefully approach, adhering to local whale watching regulations.
The Guide will share observations on the animals’ behaviors and explain the biology of the whales and dolphins being observed, while also taking photos of the cetaceans to be shared via email after the tour.
