Great Day in jail - It’s a great place, lots of things to explore and read , we had a great time in here. Good for adults and children.

Provides a real insight into conditions endured by prisoners. - The gaol gives a really interesting insight into life as an inmate during the late 19th century and early 20th century. The life like figures really depict the depravity and abuse that prisoners endured their incarceration. Really worth a visit, ample free parking.

Really good - This was really interesting. It was reasonably priced. I'd highly recommend the headset. No time limit take your time walking around and taking pictures. I'd like to see some tables and chairs set out so you can sit down with a coffee ☕️

Interesting and worth the visit - We bought tickets at the entrance for the selfguided tour. It was interesting and worth the visit. Well put presentation of fake guards and people locked in gaol. It is a must-see when in Cork, about 25 minutes walk from bus station.

Buy the audio tour! Interesting and well done. - Get the audio tour. Interesting walkthrough with good learning about life 150 years ago. Well done and worthwhile 1.5 hours.

Well worth a visit - Very well presented with exhibits, models, written tour guide and video presentations. Very sad stories to be learned.Pleasant and helpful staff. Be warned if you are walking from City Centre it is up a long steep hill!
