Interesting and worth the visit - We bought tickets at the entrance for the selfguided tour. It was interesting and worth the visit. Well put presentation of fake guards and people locked in gaol. It is a must-see when in Cork, about 25 minutes walk from bus station.

Fascinating visit to Cork Gaol - Fascinating place to visit, got the bus up due to it being quite hilly but walked it back following google maps but was easy enough. We walked around with the guidebook that was provided very interesting to read the different stories of the prisoners and why they were there and for how long. Very good interactive items to have a go at too. Would definitely recommend

Amazing experience - The museum is excellent, lots of interesting stories and facts about the jail and its inmates.
I strongly recommend the guided tour: Rory did an amazing tour, I could have listened him for hours. I am French and this is another step in the Irish history. Thanks to the team for keeping this place alive!

Great experience - well worth a visit - Really enjoyed my trip to Cork City Gaol. Chloe was our tour guide and she was excellent. Full of information but everything was delivered in an interesting way. Have already recommended for my family to visit the next time we’re in Cork.

Great value! - The staff was very nice. They answered all our questions. The guidebook was easy to navigate. Be prepared for the cold when traveling in the winter time.

Jennifer, tour guide, was welcoming and informative. Thank You!! - My girlfriend and I booked a guided tour and got Jennifer as our tour guide. Gaol for Siúlóid@CCRC - Siúlóid@CCRC, the walking group from Clonakilty Community Resource Centre, took a trip to Cork City Gaol. We had a guided tour with Jennifer. Her engagement with the group, energy and dramatic delivery made for a very enjoyable experience for all.

Unusual experience to do - A unique experience that makes us aware of the conditions of incarceration that adult or child prisoners were subjected to.... Very good visit and inexpensive cost
