History Brought to Life at Cork City Gaol - Our visit to Cork City Gaol was an informative and memorable experience. The self-guided tour, enhanced by QR code access, really brought the stories of the Gaol to life and allowed us to engage with its rich history at our own pace. This interactive approach made the visit both enjoyable and highly educational. I would highly recommend visiting Cork City Gaol when in Cork—it offers a unique perspective on Ireland’s past and is well worth the time.

A Must See In Cork. - Very interesting to visit, lots of information & experiences. Enthusiastic staff, who know their stuff on the jail. Excellent guidebook, incredible stories from long gone by…!

Very enjoyable - What a lovely little find this visit was. Did a guided tour with Chloe who was very informative and able to answer our questions. Recommend this inexpensive visit to anyone travelling to Cork with time on their hands

Great visit - Very nice visit. The story told with the audio guides was great. Not many people which allowed us to take the time for the visit.

Well worth a visit - Very well done great experience to learn about the history of the prison and the prisoners been housed there.

A must visit if in Cork. - Didn't know what to expect from it. Was very pleased with the whole experience from the friendly guest staff to the experience itself. Would highly recommend the audio it adds massively to the experience. Would visit again in future.

Must-visit - Absolutely brilliant experience. Chloe was a fabulous tour guide; really like the way the story of the prison is linked to individual prisoners. Building is really interesting and gives a great insight into this aspect of the justice system. We were staying in central Cork and walking up to the prison provided a great opportunity to explore the river too. This is an absolute must-do visit if you are in Cork.

Not for people with... - Not for people with walking difficulties. Did not see any access for wheel chair users. Even push chair's would have a problem.

Fun tour and guide - A very nice tour done with our guide Chris! Knew just a little more to tell EN about the prison system and how it went in this gaol. Small group, so it felt like a private tour. Very friendly EN friendly and friendly guide who also speaks some Dutch

- My family and I had a wonderful tour of Cork City Gaol. Our guide Chloe from Glasgow was outstanding. I would highly recommend a visit and a guided tour of this fantastic piece of our built heritage. 10/10
