Corfu Old Town - Enjoy an exciting tour of the old town of Corfu, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2007.
Take a long walk through the city to get to know the famous magnificent buildings and Venetian mansions that adorn the image of Corfu City. During your guided tour, stroll through the cobbled streets of the old town and small enchanted squares and discover Corfu city through the eyes of a local. Admire all the sights of the beautiful and historic city from the outside on your extended city walk. Marvel at the magnificent Esplanade, one of the most beautiful and largest squares in Greece, and the beautiful Liston arcade gallery, under which there are numerous cafés and bars. Opposite the Esplanade you can also see the old fortress, which was built in the 14th century by Venetians. Near the Esplanade is also the Neoclassical Palace of St. Michael and St. George. Marvel at the most magnificent and imposing building in Corfu, built between 1819 and 1823. During your guided tour, you will also pass City Hall Square, where you will see one of the most beautiful buildings in the city, the Dimarcheion . The Town Hall, which was expanded in 1903, was originally a meeting hall of the Venetian nobility. Also consider the Episcopal Church of San Giacomo, located next to the Town Hall and built in the 17thcentury.The visit to the oldest quarter of the island, Campiello, is of course not to be missed on your tour. This beautiful neighborhood has some of the most beautiful architectures of the entire island. You will also be able to see the Church of the Patron Saint of Kerkyra on your city walk, which houses the relics of Saint Spyridon. On the bustling streets of Corfu-town you will find many interesting stalls and shops offering many typical island products such as kumquat and Corfiot olive oil. You will also find pastry shops serving delicious delicacies, tavernas and wine cellars with local wines.

Very informative! - Our guide, Effie, was lovely company for the walk. There is a huge amount of history in Old Corfu Town and she was extremely knowledgeable. She also answered any questions we had with confidence too!
She took us past all the well known sites but also down some of the quieter streets away from the bustle. Plenty of tips about where to eat and drink too!

Well paced tour of Old Corfu Town - We met our tour guide Efi at the scheduled time and proceeded to take a comfortably paced walk through the beautifully landscaped park full of tall shade trees and well tended gardens. She is a font of knowledge about Greek history, presenting it in comprehensible manner calling our attention to historic and architectural details.

Corfu is beautiful! - Our tour guide Efi knew so much about the history of Corfu and the many cultures which have influenced it. We saw many architectural styles through the ages and enjoyed seeing this beautiful place

New view of Corfu - An excellent guided tour of the old town of Corfu UNESCO World Heritage Site. Efi, the competent and sympathetic city guide responded enthusiastically to all our wishes and questions and had a story to tell about all the concerns of contemporary life in the city, the extensive historical context and the resulting development of architecture. The façades of the manor houses with their specific colors and the many narrow streets appear in a new lovable look.
In order to be able to recognize the beauty and treasures, the buildings of this city and the complexity of Corfu, such a great guided tour as we have been able to experience from Efi is indispensable.

For those who love history- this is a great tour - We were lucky to be the only people on our tour. Mary our guide was a local and so passionate about her hometown of Corfu . She was very knowledgeable about not only the sites and buildings themselves but also the stories and legends that accompanied them. I had no idea of the long and rich history of Corfu Old Town. Mary’s enthusiasm showed through in her presentation and brought it all to life.
Thank you Mary for such a great tour - one that has opened our eyes to the amazing history of Corfu and will stay with us for ever. It was so lovely to meet you

A first class experience - Effie our guide was beyond wonderful.She was so knowledgeable and thorough .She understood what we wanted most to learn and was easy to talk to and ask questions.Her English was clear and impeccable. We would totally recommend her to people focused on learning about Corfu histormy culture and how to old town encompasses it all.

Perfect tour for an introduction to Corfu! - Wonderful walking tour with Efi. Very knowledgeable. Full of wonderful historical points. She answered any question and even pointed out lovely places to shop and eat. The tour was for 2 hours but we continued talking and walking for another 30 minutes.
