Great way to see highlights of Coquimbo - Good view of the highlights. Very honest, sincere guide working to support his family with pretty good English. We especially enjoyed our time at the 3rd millennium cross. The tour included the cost of admission to the site.

Excellent overview of Coquimbo - This was an easy way to tour the main sights in Coquimbo city. I don’t think we would have had as good an overview if we had to try this on our own. Our guide, Lucas, contacted us ahead of time and shared his picture which was very helpful. He was waiting for us at the meeting point. Throughout the tour, he accompanied us to provide interesting information about what we were seeing and historical insights. His Spanish accent was not a problem because he spoke slowly enough that we could understand him. Cruz Del Tercer Milenio is an incredible structure. Lucas accompanied us through the museum and interpreted for us, as well as providing additional information about the millennial celebration. The religious artifacts were impressive. As well, the views from the top were breathtaking. Fuerte Lambert was an interesting look at the history of the region. We were surprised at what a beautiful spot it was. Again, the views were spectacular. The rest of the town and La Herradura rounded out the tour, providing more great panoramic photo ops and a sense of Coquimbo’s culture. We felt it was a worthwhile tour.
