Join us for an exciting tour around Copenhagen, where we will explore the magnificent Rosenborg Castle, constructed in the Dutch Renaissance style by King Christian IV in the 1600s. We will also visit the Amalienborg Palace and Christiansborg Palace.
Our journey will take us through Christianshavn, a charming area reminiscent of a mini-Amsterdam, also established by King Christian IV. We will admire Børsen, the historic stock exchange building, and Holmens Church, both built by the same king.
At Kongens Nytorv, we will view the Royal Theatre, and explore Nyhavn, which translates to New Harbour, yet is one of the oldest districts in Copenhagen.
The tour includes a visit to the Gefion Fountain, illustrating Gefion, the Nordic goddess, ploughing the land. Nearby, we will find St. Alban’s Church, the Anglican or Episcopalian Church in Copenhagen, with busts of Winston Churchill outside.
No visit to Copenhagen is complete without seeing the iconic Little Mermaid, a beloved statue since 1913.
Concluding the Royal Tour, we will return to the vibrant center of Copenhagen.
