• Amalienborg - The home to King Frederik and Queen Mary and the centerpiece of the beautiful monumental axis between Opera and Marble Church. We will make a short stop without going in.
• Christiansborg Slot - The epicenter for Danish goverment power, the Parliament, Prime Ministers office and Supreme Court - all in one building and open to everyone. We will make a short stop without going in.
• Church of Our Lady - Copenhagen Cathedral - Copenhagen Cathedral, destoyed 1807 by British Admiral Nelson in the worlds largest civilian terror bombardment. with hundreds of dead civilians - and complete loss of the danish navy.
• Rosenborg Castle - A romantic palace from 1634 built as the king’s summer house - now home to the Royal Jewels. We will walk past the palace throught the Royal Garden. We will make a short stop without going in.
• Københavns Synagoge - We will walk past the Copenhagen Synagogue, center for the safe evacuation of the Danish Jews to Sweden during Second World war. We will make a short stop without going in.
• Rundetarn - The Round Tower is a astronomical observatory from 1642 once visited by russian czar Peter the Great who went to the top of the tower riding on a horse. We wil make a short stop without entering.
• Copenhagen King’s Square - Kongens Nytorv is a busy center of Copenhagen surrounded by small palaces.
• City Hall Square - Rådhuspladsen is the busy center of Copenhagen with the beautiful Town Hall from 1905 and a statue of a lonely fairy tale writer, Hans Christian Andersen.
• Regnbuepladsen - Rainbow Square is a tribute to LGBT’s everywhere and commemorates the world’s first same-sex marrige that happened 1989 in Copenhagen.
• Magstræde - This narrow medieval street with cobbled stones is also called Toilet Street.
• Rytterstatue af Absalon - Absalon was a warrior bishop who founded Copenhagen in 1167 to defend against raiding German pirates that attacked Denmark again and again.
