Well Organized Copán Trip with a Fantastic Guide - Great overall experience on the Copán trip. It’s a long journey, but everything was smooth and well organized. Gaby was an excellent guide, very friendly and knowledgeable, and she really made the trip enjoyable. The ruins were interesting, though not the most spectacular we’ve seen, but still worth visiting.

Great tour, make sure to check! - Great tour! Everyone was super nice and communicated very well, it was super easy getting through all the borders, and the drive wasn’t bad at all. Lots of opportunities to see new things and meet new people. Definitely a long day though, left at 04:30am and returned at 8:00pm. Need room for 6-8 new passport stamps. Definitely communicate with them and check if your trip will be going, as my trip was scheduled for a Tuesday, and on the Saturday before I messages then to check if my tour would be going, as they will cancel the night before if you are the only person on the tour that day, and they told me I was the only person booked for the Tuesday, so I was able to be moved to the Monday instead on a day the tour was already confirmed to be going.

Amazing experience - This is an amazing company with very professional guides. Josue gave already info before trip and all went on time. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and humble. The trip was amazing and we got a great guide also at Copan ruins, Marvin. Francis, the manager is also very helpful and can be proud of his people. Can only recommend.

Copan--Deciphering The Past - Our trip coordinator, Diego G., picked us up right on time. He clearly communicated with us (install WhatsApp if you don’t already use it) and confirmed all details before and during the trip. He thoughtfully reminded us what to bring and what to expect. The drive was long, but Diego made sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Border stops were a breeze with his help — it was so nice not having to figure out the process ourselves. Copán is truly impressive. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and water. Diego arranged an English-speaking guide (only approved guides from the Copán area are allowed), and I highly recommend doing the same. Juan Carlos brought the stones to life! He struck the perfect balance of information and storytelling to keep us engaged throughout. Food for thought: Tipping isn’t common practice in El Salvador and Honduras, but consider tipping your trip coordinator and Copán guide. We enjoyed a delicious lunch in Copán and had time to stroll around the town center before heading back. At the end of the day, both my husband and I agreed — it was a good day.

Long but worthwhile tour! - Yes, the Copán tour is a long day, but it’s absolutely worth it—especially since we avoided the crowds with a 4:10 AM pickup. Josue was incredible: super knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely fun to be around. He felt familiar right away and gave us clear, helpful tips for the border crossings and for arriving in Copán—how much Honduran currency to exchange, where to do it, and what to expect overall. Everything felt smooth and stress-free. Once in Copán, our local guide Oscar was top-notch. He’s been giving tours for 30+ years, and it really showed. Copán is rich with history, and seeing the macaw birds flying all around the site made the experience even more special. They’re fed twice a day, and we arrived right around 9:30 AM, so we got to see them up close—which alone made the trip feel extra worthwhile. We skipped the tunnels (not huge archaeology people), and still felt like we got a full, meaningful experience. The food in Copán was delicious—definitely try the traditional baleadas (beans, eggs, and cheese 😍), and the jalapeño fajita was also really good. Overall, a great tour. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but I’d highly recommend it if you want to visit Honduras just for Copán and return the same day safely and comfortably. You could also drive yourself across the border—it actually felt very safe and easy, which was a pleasant surprise. 🇭🇳✨

Great learning experience - Our tour guide from San Salvador (Gabby) did a great job getting us back and forth to Copan. At Copan, we had a great local guide (Giovanni) who had 35 years of experience and has intimate knowledge of the history of the archeological excavations, knows many of the experts in the field (Richard Hansen, Harvard professors) as well as being an expert ornithologist. I had been to many Mayan sites in the past (about 12) and had a good background and he answered all my many questions patiently and in depth. It is a long day (4:30 to 6:30) but despite traffic on the way back (including a Christmas parade in Santa Ana, the 14 hours were within what was advertised. It was a wonderful experience of a lifetime.
