Best way to see two of Rio's iconic landmarks - This was a great way to see two of Rio's most iconic features. Our tour guide Joana Gouveia was exceptional, speaking 4 languages to group members from various countries. I would definitely work with Rio Carioca Tours and Joana again.

Nice experience with friendly guide - The guide (Alberto aka mini guia) was very friendly and funny. The tour stops in nice places for the right amount of time to enjoy the visits. The pick up time in the morning was respected but we ended up finishing 1h later than advised. Anyway, it wasn't a problem for us and we really enjoyed the tour!

Best way to see the sights - We were going to hike to see this. So happy we booked the tour in the heat of Rio instead. We got in quickly and didn't feel rushed. Guide was super knowledgeable and we learned a lot abt the history of the city as well. The air con in the van was absolutely worth it. It's a long day full of sight seeing but relaxing. 100% need to see if you're in Rio

Half day turned into a full day - The tour guide was very professional. I would love to go on another excursion with Lydia as my guide. The cable cars to Sugarloaf Mountain were impressive. Also, Christ Redeemer was as impressive as I expected. The entire day was fantastic.

We enjoyed our tour - Good way to see both the Christ Redeemer and Sugarloaf. Decent amount of time at both locations. Van comfortable. Easier than doing it yourself.

Good tour but be flexible qith your time - I book a tour in English but i was assigned to a tour in Spanish. I speak Spanish but I wonder if other was the case. The schedule was delay mainly because the other travelers were not on time in the meeting points. We choose this tour because we thought we will finish eatly afternoon and we would have the afternoon to do other things. However, we finish the tour a vouple of hours late. PROS; Karen our guide was very kind. We skipt long lines and that was amazing. We met very nice people in the tour as well.

The concern of being left behind. - Besides the fact that I wasn’t expecting to be a marathon, it was fine. It is a good tour if you are in a hurry and don’t have a lot of time to enjoy the moment, if you most there for the pictures and a quick moment, this is a good fit. The first stop at Christ Redeemer was upsetting for me, with hard “no” for getting a coffee or stop at the gift shop. The tour guide seemed stressed, and we spent 30min up there just worry to be left behind by the way he spoke to us. We stopped at some places between the Christ and the Sugarloaf that I wasn’t expecting, then by the time we got at the sugarloaf we had all this extra time and I wish I had the time to get what I saw the Christ Redeem’s gift shop. This is my only complain. The guide made to all the stops and we took all the pictures we want. He accommodated our pick up and drop off location and we were back safe and sound.

A Full-Day Tour — Not Half a Day - You need to know that this is NOT a half day tour. It actually a full day — with only two sites being visited. We spent a good 90 minutes simply picking up people from the various hotels — and I was even the first stop. Once you are actually on the tour and visiting Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, it’s fine. However, you’ll have to be extremely patient to get to that point. Do not plan to finish the tour before 3pm or 4pm.

We were not picked up... - We were not picked up from our hotel as advertised in the tour. The tour guides' English was very poor. The sites were good to see but with no information about them from the guide it was disappointing.
