A must do in copacabana! - Marco was awesome! He took his time to explain the basic steps to us & and showed us how to put the steps into practice at the dance club in lapa - Rio scenarium! We had a ton of fun & would highly recommend for anyone visiting Rio.

It was a lot of fun! The... - It was a lot of fun! The teacher was great, we did the samba club after, it was nice but it was a tourist spot and not a local club. Which had its benefits, but would have been nice to get an authentic experience too.

A perfect anniversary treat - I booked the samba class & night tour as a surprise night out for my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary. She was initially unsure about the samba class but it was relaxed and fun and we were soon able to dance the basic samba steps. Then we were taken by minibus to Rio Scenarium - the best nightclub I have ever seen - for a wonderful night dancing to cracking live bands. Excellent value and an experience to be treasured.

Fun way to learn the samba - So much fun. Marco was very welcoming and put me at ease immediately (was outside my comfort zone!), we learned the basics steps and bonded as a group. The night our to the club was brilliant, dancing together with marco an d diego and the music was fab. Really recommend this class.

When in Rio….. - The lesson with Marco exceeded my expectations. I would recommend him to anyone interested in both group classes or private lessons. He is very good at breaking down the technique, and helps you improve irrespective of the level you are at.

Fantastic - a slice of Brazilian culture - Bruno is a fantastic and friendly instructor and was able to teach us the basics of the samba step in just an hour. The samba club experience was one of the highlights of my time in Rio, and Bruno also recommended drinks and brought us to a couple of other places in Lapa. I cannot recommend this package enough for anyone who wants to learn a slice of local Brazilian culture!

First steps of Samba - Very nice teachers (one female, one male) who taught us the basic steps of Samba de Pé in one hour. Of course, it’s tricky to learn in this short time, but it was good to get a first impression and she recorded a video for us to practice at home afterwards. The course takes place in an apartment building not far from Copacabana. They have a big mirror, so you can confirm how you move.
