Amazing experience - Our teacher was amazing, he is so positive his energy amazing and he made it so much fun. And the club that we went later was so so beautiful, we danced a lot. I totally recommend it.

Samba class in Rio! - We had a really fun time learning how to samba dance. Our teacher was very good and patient. He let us record his dancing to practice in the future. This is definitely a great experience to do whilst you are in Rio, highly recommend!!! Thank you :)

Rio Samba Experience - Marco was a friendly, lively, excellent instructor who gave our group a one hour introductory lesson in tango, which was a lot of fun. Then he laid on a transfer to the Scenarium Nightclub in Lapa, where we ate, drank and danced to a live band. Marco stayed with us at the club and continued his instruction on the dance floor. The club is over three floors and beautifully decked out with an old world colonial feel. It’s friendly for people of all ages. A warm inviting place. There are plenty of cabs waiting outside. Yellow cabs in Rio are not super expensive and a great way of getting about. Most accept cards, if you’ve spent all your cash! A thoroughly entertaining evening.

A fun time for beginners and music lovers - Very beginner friendly and so much fun. The live music afterwards was also awesome. Definitely recommend for a good clean time in rio. Added bonus - Food at the live music spot was good.

Dancing Queen! - It was a GREAT experience! I came late and Marco, I believe the instructor’s name, was so patient with teaching me. After the class he took us to the Rio Scenarium and danced the night away! It was my Bday and he bought me a drink! It was so fun! I had a blast! I highly recommend this tour, even if you don’t have a partner go!!! You will have fun!

Great experience for samba lovers - My sister and I recently visited Rio and we booked this samba class. We really enjoyed the experience. Marcos was a friendly and knowledgeable instructor. After the class, we got to go to this gorgeous place in Lapa with great live music. I would definitely recommend it.

A must do in copacabana! - Marco was awesome! He took his time to explain the basic steps to us & and showed us how to put the steps into practice at the dance club in lapa - Rio scenarium! We had a ton of fun & would highly recommend for anyone visiting Rio.

It was a lot of fun! The... - It was a lot of fun! The teacher was great, we did the samba club after, it was nice but it was a tourist spot and not a local club. Which had its benefits, but would have been nice to get an authentic experience too.

A perfect anniversary treat - I booked the samba class & night tour as a surprise night out for my wife on our 25th wedding anniversary. She was initially unsure about the samba class but it was relaxed and fun and we were soon able to dance the basic samba steps. Then we were taken by minibus to Rio Scenarium - the best nightclub I have ever seen - for a wonderful night dancing to cracking live bands. Excellent value and an experience to be treasured.

Good Class, But Overcrowded Space - The samba class was well-structured, but the room was too small for the number of participants. With three rows, those in the back couldn’t see themselves or the instructor in the mirror, which is essential for learning. Given Carnaval season, a cap on attendance or a larger venue would have improved the experience.
