Amazing Rio Experience - Great experience where we learned samba with an instructor. Then went to Rio Scenarium in Lapa and danced until late in the night. Rio Scenarium was also interesting to tour to see what was inside

A great time!! - We did a couple class. There were only 2 of us so it was really great. Our teacher was really super nice and very professional! At the end of the hour we were able to follow several steps while neither of us danced. It was really great!!

A great way to spend a night in Rio! - We had a super fun night at this Samba experience! Instructor Marco has great energy and we managed to make friends by the end of the night with the others in the group. The Rio Scenarium is a super cool place - the bands are talented, great energy on the dance floor, and really neat decor. It definitely felt like an open, non-judgmental experience where you could just give Samba a try and not feel like you have to be good. My only note is that we went with an odd number and most other people in the class were couples so on the partner part of the dancing I was paired with the instructor, which was fine for me but just something to keep in mind. Also, I would have loved to learn a tad more about the history and impact of Samba in brazil before diving right into dancing. But all in all, a great way to spend a night in Rio!

Wonderful Samba experience. - The Samba class was so fun. We did an hour of lessons then were taken to a famous Samba bar in Lapa. The atmosphere there is immaculate and is filled with so much history. Anyone in Rio for the first time HAS to do this Samba class.

Amazing experience - Our teacher was amazing, he is so positive his energy amazing and he made it so much fun. And the club that we went later was so so beautiful, we danced a lot. I totally recommend it.

Samba class in Rio! - We had a really fun time learning how to samba dance. Our teacher was very good and patient. He let us record his dancing to practice in the future. This is definitely a great experience to do whilst you are in Rio, highly recommend!!! Thank you :)

Rio Samba Experience - Marco was a friendly, lively, excellent instructor who gave our group a one hour introductory lesson in tango, which was a lot of fun. Then he laid on a transfer to the Scenarium Nightclub in Lapa, where we ate, drank and danced to a live band. Marco stayed with us at the club and continued his instruction on the dance floor. The club is over three floors and beautifully decked out with an old world colonial feel. It’s friendly for people of all ages. A warm inviting place. There are plenty of cabs waiting outside. Yellow cabs in Rio are not super expensive and a great way of getting about. Most accept cards, if you’ve spent all your cash! A thoroughly entertaining evening.

A fun time for beginners and music lovers - Very beginner friendly and so much fun. The live music afterwards was also awesome. Definitely recommend for a good clean time in rio. Added bonus - Food at the live music spot was good.

Dancing Queen! - It was a GREAT experience! I came late and Marco, I believe the instructor’s name, was so patient with teaching me. After the class he took us to the Rio Scenarium and danced the night away! It was my Bday and he bought me a drink! It was so fun! I had a blast! I highly recommend this tour, even if you don’t have a partner go!!! You will have fun!

Good Class, But Overcrowded Space - The samba class was well-structured, but the room was too small for the number of participants. With three rows, those in the back couldn’t see themselves or the instructor in the mirror, which is essential for learning. Given Carnaval season, a cap on attendance or a larger venue would have improved the experience.
