Best tour of my life ! - This was the most amazing tour I’ve ever had ! Our tour guide Gabriella is so fun, amazing and funny, also she was so knowledgeable and we had the greatest time learning about the favélas and Rio. Thank you again Gabriella ❤️

Favela life. Incredible. - Gabriela was outstanding. The 3 hr tour turned into over 5 hrs because we were having such a great time! And also because she found us a great place to have an authentic Brazilian lunch! Gabriela’s knowledge of Rocinha was extensive. There was nothing she didn’t know. We had so much fun, including watching children performing Capoeira, riding on the back of a moto-taxi!! And even making a drone video from a favéla rooftop bar! Incredible. Thanks to Gabi and Lucas. 10/10. See you soon.

Brilliant Favela tour - Went around with Gabrielle a friendly and informative guide . Rode up the top of the Favela on the back of Motorbike taxis for stunning views of Rio from the top then walked back down through the alleyways and passage ways ..a brilliant experience

I'm so glad I participated - Memorable experience, very kind and supporting staff. We felt safe and learnt a lot with awesome views to make photo memories and touching people we will remember without photos. Highly recommend.

Exceptional Favela Tour - The Favela Brothers tour was an amazing experience and a highlight of our visit to Rio. Our guide, Roberto, was excellent; friendly and so informative and we were given a real insight into the Rocinha community. The tour was very well organised and we felt safe at all times. Highly recommend Roberto and the Favela Brothers company for an unforgettable Rio tour.

An unforgettable experience! - Unglaubliche Favela Tour. When traveling to Rio, a favela tour is a must. The tour guide Carlos has always made us feel safe. He gave us great insights into the favela. He gave us a lot of new things to learn. Thank you.

Great tour with Carlos - Carlos was my guide that day, he picked me up with Uber at my hotel. Once we arrived, we took an Uber motorcykel to the top of the favella and enjoyed the fantastic view over Rio. We walked our way down to where we had started. Passing by an association for the favella kids, they did a little show for showing their skills in Capoeira. Expect to give them some money at the end of the show. They also show you their small handcraft and you are free yo buy something. We continued our way through the narrow streets/alleys where I was not allowed to take puctures. Be prepared to see armed guys and drug selling there. But I did not feel unsafe. Carlos took me to a rooftop where you get great views again, you have to pay 5 real to be there. They sell drinks and other stuff as well. On the way, Carlos tells you a lot on the life in the favella and how it is organised etc... All in all, it was very interesting tour.

Precious experience to see a different side of Rio de Janeiro - We had a great time with our guide, Antonio. He took us to the top of the favela by a motorcycle, and we walked down to the area where the metro station was. The tour reminded us that the Rocinha is a community similar to towns we grew up in and could feel the energy of people striving to live day by day. It became a precious experience which we could not have had if we had confined ourselves only in the tourist area.
