The structure engineered by Santiago Calatrava employs eco-friendly design techniques, utilizing natural energy and illumination, such as harnessing solar energy for the building’s power needs and employing bay water to balance its internal climate.
The prime exhibit, conceived by physicist and cosmologist Luiz Alberto Oliveira, guides visitors across five key zones: Cosmos, Earth, Anthropocene, Tomorrow and Now.
The museum tackles topics such as population expansion and amplified longevity, consumption habits, global warming, genetic manipulation and bioethics, wealth dispersion, technological progress, and modifications in biodiversity.
