Visiting Rio the city in a day - Everything was amazing. Most incredible was the weirdness of staying in such iconic places we have seen consistently on our screens. I can't stress how fantastic our guide and driver were. The fact that the tour switched Sugar Loaf and lunch made a huge difference meant we didn't wait too long at Sugar Loaf. We came down and the queue was long! So grateful for that decision. I could spend a whole day at the stairs, just looking at every tile. And the caipirinha at lunch - YUMMY! I know many people think that tours might be not worth it (me too!), but for the ease of day, removing the stress, having the language support, this was well worth it.

Amazing experience! - Amazing experience! First our guide Publio and driver guaranteed excellent reception, interaction, safety, knowledge and guidance in each procedure. Then the landscapes and sights of Rio de Janeiro involve us environmentally and historically in a very positive way. We lived friendly with the other tourists, mostly from other countries - we were from three continents, three different languages. Excellent lunch in high quality Rhodesian barbecue. A gift the reflections that the Públio brought us about life and the memory that we take from it!

Great tour! So much information! - This was a very great tour. It was very organized and we got to see all the big sites of Rio in one day. The train ride to the mountain offered some great views and while we went on a rainy day, by the time we got up to the Christ the Redeemer, the clouds had opened up and got some amazing views of Rio! Our guide was very informative and offered so much knowledge on all the sites.

Awesome Rio de Janeiro - I couldn't believe I was actually going up to Urca and then Sugar Loaf Mountain in a cable. The mountain and views from it are awesome. The buffet lunch was fantastic, both the food and the drama of the waiters bringing skewered, BBQ meats and carving at the table. Great tour and great C2Rio guide Publio, who had a hard job to say everything in Portuguese, Spanish and English.

Brilliant tour - Brilliant if full on day, covered all the main sights of Rio & great lunch included. FYI pick up at 0740 then an hour collecting others, drop off around 1730. Guide was excellent (Publio). Some queues but not too much.

Good start to the holiday - A good start to the holiday. You get just enough time to see everything clearly. There are additional stops with sights in between. You also drive past a cathedral and the samba carnival grounds. For lunch you will be served delicious BBQ meat with fries and salad. As much as you can eat. The guide provides a lot of information about the highlights and the driver drives you around comfortably in a luxurious Mercedes shuttle bus. Great day!

Reduced value in going solo - Train ride and visit to cathedral highlighted this tour from the many other day tour offerings on the internet. But on the down side I booked through Viator. They charged me for two people when I was a solo traveler. I put in for one person and get the same cost when putting in for two. This is an unfortunate ripoff.

Good tour - The tour covered all the must see things in Rio. There was some confusion regarding where to meet the tour guide and when we asked at tour desk in the hotel lobby, we were given incorrect information about where to wait. The guide was very knowledgeable and provided a lot of informaiton about the city and the sites. We would have preferred not to have so much down time, though. We waited around alot. Overall, it was a good way to see as much as possible in a single day.
