- Piazza Amendola Giovanni - Here, enjoy one of Como’s most traditional dishes: Polenta uncia or polenta with braised meat. This dish is a staple in the Como and Alpine regions. The polenta is made by mixing and cooking corn and buckwheat flour, then served with braised meat or with cheeses and melted butter (polenta uncia). Also, try the famous Sciatt, delicious and crispy pancakes with a gooey cheese center.

Wonderful taste of Como! - Our tour guide Janis was delightful! She shared an extensive history of Como and took us to wonderful corners of the city known only to locals. She is kind, intelligent and funny and everything was fantastic!

Fun and delicious - 5 stars – A perfect experience in Como!
Janis was an exceptional guide—warm, knowledgeable, and full of contagious enthusiasm for the local food and culture. Every stop on the tour was thoughtfully chosen and delicious, from hidden gems to classic favorites. We learned not only about the dishes but also the history and stories behind them, which made the experience truly special. Janis created a fun, relaxed atmosphere that made it feel like we were exploring Como with a friend who just happens to know all the best places. This tour was a highlight of our trip—highly recommended!

Family Food Tour - Chiara was smart and funny! We enjoyed spending time with her. We actually had too much food! (Maybe a salad instead of pizza?)

Como, tradition and culture - Pleasant walk in the historic center of Como, to discover shops and historic signs, full of charm and tradition.

Great day! Lots of food! - Great tour! Mario spoke 3 languages.
We learned about the Cathedral and sites as we walked and enjoyed:
-Great variety of meats, cheeses, and wine at a restaurant outside in square
-Delicious pizza! Our favorite so far
-Several different Regional specialties at a Trattoria
-Delicous Gelato
-Ended with espresso at outdoor cafe!

Food Galore - Mario was a terrific guide. PLENTY of food. Make sure you are hungry before starting this tour. Nice stroll around town as well.

Local Lake Como tastings - Chiara was a wonderful guide! We had great food, wine and company. We love going to local places. Great tour to do on a rainy day.

Generous food helpings. - Chiara was lovely although we had difficulty finding her at the start! Lots of food so be prepared to be well fed although less informative about the city than other tours we’ve done. Only one glass of wine included so definitely a food tour, not food & wine tour.

Skip!! - Tour guide was a little late to start. We went to the wine tasting which was good. She didn't offer much on hers of details regarding food. We then did the pizza stop. No reserved table so we sat outside at dirty tables She choose a plane pizza with sauce only and there was some very interesting other pizza that we would have preferred to try
We shared a water between 2 of us. We expressed how disappointed we were in her choice. We walked to restaurant. Wine and beer extra cost. Food was OK nothing great. Gelato was good. Stopped for coffee and I asked if I could order tea..
