Fantastic, fun, and delicious - Juan Carlos was a friendly, knowledgeable, and fun guide — sharing more tacos than anyone should really eat, a nice walk, some history, and very informative overview of the Lucha Libre before dropping us off at the front door of the coliseum for the matches. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour.

Mexico City from the top rope! - Tanya and Juan Carlos took my family - and some new friends - on a culinary and cultural adventure through the center of Mexico City. Both tour guides share their enthusiasm for the city, especially its food and people. They showed personalized attention to each guest, making sure to cater the many tacos to food and other sensitivities. Even our picky child found lots to love.  I enjoyed in particular talking about how Mexico City had evolved over time: from powerful kingdoms to colonial rule to revolution and counter-revolution. Both guides expressed the complexity of the city's experience with an even-handed but obvious zeal. When it came time to enter the ring, they played up the history, theater, and athleticism of the lucha libre. At every point, we felt safe and ready to face what came next. Masks on, we cheered our favorite técnico or rudo, then said goodnight to the city.

You'll be pleasantly surprised at the fun you'll have! - We loved how Juan Carlos integrated food, culture and history into his tour. The beautiful neighborhood we walked thru was unlike any other part of Mexico City we had explored prior. The taco stops were fun and very filling. We got so involved in the tacos that we forgot we were still supposed to see the luchas. We were happy that our kids were adventurous in trying all the food that was offered but may this not be the case for many other younger kids who may not like many food varieties. Our kids enjoyed the food and loved picking their masks before entering the venue. We would not have thought to book tickets to see Lucha Libre but it was actually very fun for all of us. There was lots of crude yelling in Spanish in the arena during the fights but this didn't phase our 10-year-old very much as he was enjoying the vibe and energy of the night. One thing we didn't think of when we booked was how late it would end. We would do this again but not the night before our early AM flight home the next day.

Juan Carlo and Tanya were... - Juan Carlo and Tanya were fantastic tour guides, sharing their deep knowledge of the neighborhood’s history and architecture while showing us some incredible buildings. They also took us to some amazing taco stands, which were a highlight of the experience. The Luchadore show was lively but quite hectic. Since we went on a Friday, the venue was packed. The balcony seating was general admission, and by the time we arrived after the tour, our options were limited. We ended up in the third row from the top with a slightly obstructed view. Despite that, the experience was absolutely worth it for an authentic taste of the local culture.

¡Místico! ¡Místico! - My wife, thirteen year old son, and I had a fantastic time. The experience went way above expectation. Our guides were super friendly and knowledgeable. We learned about the neighborhoods we explored and it was a pleasant walk. The food during the excursion was my favorite of our whole trip and it was all you can eat. And Tuesday night Lucha Libre in Arena Mexico was phenomenal. I am now a Lucha Libre fan! I highly recommend this tour.

A walk with tacos and tickets to lucha libre at the end - The lucha libre is really great! It was not clear from the description, but essentially your tickets are simply purchased beforehand for you and they walk you up to the ushers - not especially involved on that end. The walking tour was fine, not particularly insightful - but some really great tacos along the way.
