En route, they will visit Mulkirigala Temple, a striking rock formation with extraordinary cave temples situated 21 km (13 miles) north of Tangalle town in the Hambantota district.
Upon reaching the campsite, there will be time to freshen up before lunch. Lunch will be served at the camp, accompanied by a brief introduction from the camp manager about the campsite’s features. After lunch, guests can relax by taking a nap in a hammock or exploring wildlife books in the library. A game ride will commence late in the afternoon. In the evening, enjoy a private alfresco shower followed by drinks and appetizers around the campfire or in the lounge tent.
Dinner will be served at 9 pm at various locations throughout the camp. Dining under the stars offers an unforgettable jungle experience. Overnight accommodation will be at “The Naturalist campsite,” which redefines the traditional tented safari with modern conveniences while maintaining the romantic ambiance of the British colonial era filled with adventure. Mobile camping provides the most authentic safari experience, offering true immersion into the wilderness’s sights and sounds.
Day 2: Rise at dawn around 5:00 am to enjoy freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee. Depart for a morning game drive at 5:30 am. Return from the drive between 9-10 am to enjoy freshly squeezed juices from seasonal fruits, followed by breakfast. Check-out is at 11:00 am, with transportation back to the hotel in the selected cities (refer to Departure Point for specifics).

Savor dinner beneath the stars and spend the night in a private, upscale tent before waking up to an early morning game drive and a morning meal. This excursion includes transportation to and from various pick-up points, as well as three meals and overnight lodging.
