Upon arrival in Kitulgala, embark on an exhilarating white-water rafting journey, tackling 5 major rapids and 4 smaller ones on the stunning Kelani River. Participants aged 10 and above are welcome to join this adventure, equipped with rafts, safety gear, and a comprehensive safety briefing from our expert rafting guides. Kitulagala, a quaint town, is celebrated for its thrilling outdoor activities. Enveloped by abundant trees and rolling hills, it also carries the distinction of being the filming site for the 1957 Oscar-winning masterpiece, ‘Bridge on the River Kwai’ by David Lean. Adventure enthusiasts flock over from various parts of Sri Lanka, drawn by the primary allure of Kitulgala – whitewater rafting. Further, the town is famed for activities like trekking through the jungle, rappelling by waterfalls, sliding down streams, and confidence jumps. The adventures continue with cave and river explorations.
