• Taste of Asia - In Sri Lanka, hoppers are delicate, bowl-shaped pancakes named after the pan that shapes them. These crispy bowls are perfect for fillings. As the batter begins to cook, chefs crack a whole egg over it and cover the pan.

• Yarl Restaurant - Pittu is a traditional breakfast dish made from steamed rice flour mixed with grated coconut and salt. It is cooked in a pittu bambuwa, a cylindrical bamboo vessel wrapped with coir.

The pittu mixture of rice flour and coconut is placed inside this bamboo structure and steamed over a water-filled vessel. If you enjoy seafood and spicy dishes, you must try Sri Lankan Crab Curry. This Asian dish, made with crab meat, shallots, and milk, pairs well with steamed rice or pulao. However, it can also be savored with Pittu.

Kottu Roti and Pittu are available at the same venue. Each restaurant allows 20 minutes for dining to ensure a smooth and timely experience.

• Arusuvai Indian Restaurant - Kottu Roti (also known as Koththu Roti) is one of Sri Lanka’s most cherished and iconic street foods. This tasty and satisfying dish is made by stir-frying chopped godhamba roti (a type of flatbread) with a mix of vegetables, eggs, meat (chicken, beef, or seafood), and aromatic spices.
