Excellent tour, excellent guide - We spent the first 2 days in Colombo after arriving in Sri Lanka and this is where our tour guide Prasanna picked us up From start to finish the tour has been wonderful made even better by Prasanna’s local knowledge, professionalism and his driving skills as we navigated our way through the country Prasanna made sure our holiday was going to be memorable, we couldn’t of asked for more from making sure we were comfortable in the A/C car to getting in the correct spot for the best photo or getting up extra early to catch the beautiful sunrise at certain locations All the hotels were clean and in great locations along with the lovely fresh food We would certainly recommend Lanka Safe tours and would be ideal if you was a little nervous holidaying in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 If you are thinking of visiting Sri Lanka do not hesitate booking but do ask for Prasanna, you will not be disappointed 😊

Best way to tour the fabulous island of Sri Lanka - As experienced travellers my wife and I had high expectations from the 8 day tour we booked with Lanka Safe tours and we were not disappointed. Our driver/guide Prasanna met us in our hotel in Columbo on time a with great/clear communication. After a few hours driving, our first day ending with a magnificent safari to see elephants. The next day started early, as recommended by Prasanna to climb Sigiriya rock fortress, as the sun came up, followed by an interesting village tour. Throughout Prasanna was providing interesting information about Sri Lanka and its people, while safely driving on the difficult roads. Dambulla Cave Temple came next before the scenic drive to Kandy. After a good lunch, we visited Temple of the Tooth Relic with a local guide that Prasanna had arranged and then a cultural dance show before dinner. On the way to Nanu Oya Railway Station, we stopped off at a tea factory that was really interesting learning about the drying/sorting process and different types of tea grown there. As we were not able to pre-book tickets for the train to Ella, Prasanna helped again with getting us the best possible train journey, which was a memorable experience. Little Adam’s Peak at sunrise was another great suggestion by Prasanna, before the Nine arch bridge then breakfast. Yala national park was a great highlight, as we saw many animals and a leopard to round off another fantastic day. I would highly recommend Sri Lanka for a vacation and ask for Prasanna to be your driver with Lanka safe tours

Reliable, friendly and efficient. Can't ask for more! - We were very happy with the service provided by Lanka Safe. Our guide Sampath and the two drivers we had (the van we started off with had some issues, so that vehicle got swapped out along with the driver) were gentle, friendly, accommodating and very professional. They took care of our luggage, we always felt safe and we had a thoroughly enjoyable and varied trip. Sri Lanka has so many different facets to explore and we felt like we saw the best of a little of everything. Thanks to Sampath, we made a stop at the probably the best Noritake factory of the several dotted around the country, and I walked away very happy. Sampath also accompanied us on hikes and the safari and we enjoyed our chats with him. Our drivers Piduranga and Dumith also deserve praise as the mountain roads were windy in parts and they skilfully maneuvered bends and the myriad other vehicles. We found them to be excellent drivers. Communication with Lanka Safe before was efficient and our guys were always prepared and waiting for us ahead of time. Highly recommend Lanka Safe.

Srilanka 8days private tour - Our recent trip through Sri Lanka was truly unforgettable, and a huge part of that was thanks to our amazing private driver tour. On the way, we stopped at Dambulla Cave Temple, which was serene and beautifully preserved. 🌺 Kandy Next was Kandy, Sri Lanka’s cultural heart. We visited the Temple of the Tooth, strolled around the peaceful lake, and enjoyed a traditional dance performance in the evening. Our driver took us to a local viewpoint at sunset that we’d never have found on our own. 🌄 Ella Ella stole our hearts with its lush greenery and laid-back charm. We hiked Little Adam’s Peak, explored Nine Arch Bridge, and enjoyed some of the best food of our trip at local cafés. The train ride from Kandy to Ella (our driver dropped us off and picked us up at the other end) was another unforgettable experience. 🐘 Yala Safari From Ella, we headed to Yala National Park. Our driver arranged a reliable safari guide for us. We were lucky enough to see elephants, crocodiles, wild boars, peacocks, and even a leopard! The early morning wake-up call was worth it. 🌊 Mirissa We wrapped up our tour in Mirissa, where we relaxed on golden beaches and took a whale-watching tour. It was the perfect way to wind down after an active itinerary. Our driver even recommended a quiet beachside restaurant for our final dinner — a perfect send-off. Overall Experience This tour gave us the best of Sri Lanka — history, nature, wildlife, and beaches — without any of the stress of planning transportation or finding reliable guides. A private driver tour isn’t just convenient; it’s immersive and tailored to your pace. Great memories, with no stress. - If you’re coming to Sri Lanka and you want to see the country properly you will need to get a good driver. Lanka Safe Tours provided us that and much more with Prassana. Prasanna is a lovely guy who always got us to where we were going safely and in good time. As a second generation tour guide he has great knowledge of the places you’ll visit and surrounding areas. If you need help choosing activities or places to eat and stay he can help, but is never pushy, you just choose and follow your itinerary. You get lots of space to do your own thing, but I’m sure you’ll be happy to share your time with him too. Bottom line is I would use Lanka Safe Tours again next time. Thanks Pras :)

Sri Lanka with Prasanna - My wife and I traveled with Prasanna. He was always on time, was proactive in communicating the schedule for the next day and keeping us on schedule, and was a safe driver. I appreciated his recommendations for lunch restaurants and his efforts to facilitate any activities we wanted to do (e.g., a cultural site guide, buying entrance tickets, safaris, train tickets, hiking, massages, etc.) and hotel check in. We were very active on this vacation and I appreciated that Prasanna took the initiative to hike with us while providing relevant information and taking pictures of us. Book your trip with Shiran! - My friend and I have just finished our incredible trip around Sri Lanka and all of our experiences and memories are down to our amazing guide Shiran. We had initially just booked a driver to take us from one location to another, but after meeting Shiran we recognised his expertise and professionalism and decided to extend our trip to have him with us for the whole time - it was the best decision! Shiran is a fun, knowledgable, thoughtful and incredibly kind guide. He organised and planned so many brilliant days and activities that we wouldn’t have done without him.
