Round trip Sri Lanka with MySL Travel - In February 2025, I took a two-week tour of Sri Lanka with MySL Travel. I had found the company on the Internet via google - and initially approached this planning with a certain scepticism. You organize a trip halfway around the world, you don't really know if you're dealing with a fake company that only exists virtually. After initial contacts and since I had already organized comparable trips in India twice very successfully, I was able to overcome my scepticism quickly. Email contact with MySL Travel was fast, efficient and professional. The company was also easily accessible via WhatsApp. Then I booked a driver with a car. A small deposit has been paid. The rest paid in two installments in cash during the trip. I completely took over the travel planning - route and hotel bookings - myself and carried it out via the usual travel portals. I basically followed the route that is also regularly chosen by commercial providers: Colombo/Negombo-Anuradhapura-Trincomalee-Polonnaruwa-Dambulla-Sigiriya-Kandy-Nuwara Eliya-Ella-Yala NP-South and West Coast-Colombo. It was all interesting, nice and worth seeing and it is fun to play with the surf on the coasts. I skipped Sigiriya skirt. The 1,200 steps are more for young people. Yala NP was terrible because a disgusting mass handling. Others might enjoy it. My resume: A good trip, a well-organized country with excellent infrastructure. You should have seen Sri Lanka. In contrast to India, I would now drive there myself at any time. But: Sri Lanka is not comparable to the size, chaos and overwhelming cultural heritage of South India. The tour operator MySL Travel was great. My driver Nisal was a competent, pleasant and very flexible travel companion, with whom I would go back on tour at any time.

Fantastic Time in Sri Lanka - We booked a driver for 14 days with MySL Travel. Everything was well organized, good communication and quick reaction. All worked out well, from Pick up at the airport throughout the journey until last day! I can definitely recommend MySL Travel. Our driver was Supun, he was a good driver, great guide and became a friend. He was so helpful and caretaking, he was always on time, had good suggestions and we felt safe all the time. We enjoyed the time with him a lot!

Very nice and fun, it is a country full of friendly and polite people, very helpful with the tourist and - My partner and I went on our honeymoon to Sri Lanka, as a guide we were the great driver, guide and best photographer Mr. Asanka, he made us spend some very pleasant days in which he took us to know many places, he advised us visits to know the culture of the country, also excursions to magical places and also restaurants where typical Sri lanka food was served. We are very happy with the adventure we have and especially if we say repeat the trip we choose Mr. Asanka. Thanks for everything.

Professional and Good Experience - It was a very seamless experience from booking the cab till we get the cab at airport. Driver they provided was English speaking and very professional. An unforgettable experience! - We spent our honeymoon in Sri Lanka and hired the chauffeur service with Asanka Srimal. Very professional and punctual driver, always worrying so that we could enjoy the experience to the fullest. Apart from fulfilling the itinerary we carried, it offered us the opportunity to get to know firsthand the customs and traditions as well as other places outside the tourist circuits. We took a great memory of Asanka and we would definitely repeat with him.

Superb Experience with Guide Hashan Fernando - We had an amazing guide Hashan Fernando, he drove us for all 8 days and took us to incredible places. His attention to detail, customer satisfaction and customer comfort was incredible. He took personal interest in understanding our requirement and made sure we have amazing experience in all places. He enjoys his work that is his biggest strength. We will come back to Sri Lanka and opt for Hashan only.
