• Eigelstein Torburg - Upon arrival at the meeting point, each guest is provided with a personalized e-bike tailored to their preferences. The tour kicks off right beside the medieval Eigelstein City Gate, where the guide offers general instructions about the tour, including its duration, route, and the e-bikes. Then, you hop on the e-bikes and begin the journey heading north of Cologne.
• St. Agnes - The tour continues through the authentic Agnes Neighborhood. The guide shares insights about the city’s development, the neighborhood, and life in Cologne.
• KolnTriangle - The next segment of the tour crosses the Zoo Bridge, offering fantastic city views, and proceeds through the Rhine Park. We cycle along the Rhine, enjoying wonderful views, passing the Cologne Triangle and the Old Convention Center.
• Hohenzollern Bridge - We cycle over the Hohenzollern Bridge to return to the Cathedral side of the city. The Hohenzollern Bridge is one of Germany’s most famous train bridges, beautifully adorned with Cologne’s renowned love padlocks. From here, we continue towards the Cathedral.
• Cologne Cathedral - Arriving at the Cathedral’s entrance gate, you listen to stories about its construction, history, development, and architecture. You then hop back on the e-bikes, circle the Cathedral, and enter Cologne’s Old Town.
• Alter Markt - We cycle through the narrow streets and alleys of Cologne’s Old Town. You’ll see the historic and modern city and town halls, the Old Market, the Hey Market, and learn more about Cologne’s medieval history.
• Chocolate Museum - From the Old Town, we head south of Cologne. At the entrance of the Rheinau Harbor, we pass the Chocolate Museum—a must-see in Cologne—and continue past the famous Crane Houses along the Rhine.
• Rheinauhafen - We cycle through one of Cologne’s latest city developments, where architectural styles from different periods mix and match.
• Severinstorburg - Leaving the Harbor area and riding through the famous “Südstadt,” we experience the urban Cologne flair. We take a short break at one of the cozy or trendy cafés or restaurants, or grab some snacks at a local market—how you spend your break time is up to you! We dismount the e-bikes for a while, and your guide provides brief instructions about the area and ensures the e-bikes are securely locked. After the break, we get back on the e-bikes and continue the tour.
• Innerer Grungurtel - This is the final part of the route. We leave the Südstadt behind and head back to the Eigelstein. We ride through the “Greenbelt,” a vast park area and the city’s green lung. We cycle from south to north, experiencing the different sections of the park up close.
• Alte Feuerwache - We enter this unique place in the city’s north, where your guide shares interesting stories about the city’s development and the district’s architecture. You get back on your e-bikes, switch on the support system, continue the last part of the tour, and arrive back at the Eigelstein. Here, you park the e-bikes, your guide bids farewell, offers any further recommendations or tips you may need, and takes care of the bikes. This marks the end of the e-bike tour.

You start your discovery in the authentic Eigelstein and Agnes Neighborhoods, cross over the Rhine, and enjoy fantastic views of the city center, and the impressive Cathedral, about which your guide shares many interesting stories with you. You slowly make your way through the narrow alleys of the Old Town, via the Old Market and the Hey Market, until you reach the Rheinau Harbor - one of the most interesting urban developments in Cologne. From here it is not far to the Südstadt, with its unique urban flair, until you reach the extended parks of the “Greenbelt” and make your way back. You are accompanied by trained guides who share stories about history, architecture, culture, lifestyle, and much more.
