Great experience with a great guide. - Great introduction to Cologne and its history, with some great insight into the Cathedral. Sasha was a great host, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The 2 hrs flew by.

Fantastic History Lesson - Our guide, (Sacha, I think) gave us so much interesting history about the Dom, Protestant/Catholic conflicts, the World Wars, and immigration. He narrated everything with humor and can do various foreign accents very well! Karina NYC

Very information dense tour; however, still enjoyable! - My tour of Cologne Cathedral and the surrounding area with Sasha was rather exceptional! He has a quite a quirky sense of humor which I found endearing; however, it may not be for everyone. Sasha's deep knowledge and passion brought the history of this magnificent structure to life. The intricate details of the cathedral’s architecture were explained with clarity and enthusiasm, making the experience both educational and captivating. We only toured the outside; however, the entrance to the cathedral is free of charge although self-guided. Exploring the surrounding area was equally delightful, Sasha provided fascinating insights into Cologne's rich history and culture. He deleved into Cologne's ancient Roman roots , into it's interesting medieval history and spanning well into the devastating World Wars that occurred. He even went into current affairs of Cologne as well! The tour was well-paced, informative, and engaging throughout. A fair bit of warning though, this tour is VERY information heavy -- but I guess that's a good thing for some! It brought me an appreciation of Cologne which I wouldn't have gotten just reading pamphlets alone! Also, Sasha has shown great patience for me when I couldn't find the initial meet-up point. He was very communicative in that regard. Thankfully, I was able to find the meetup spot without losing too much time. Thankfully, the tour group at 12pm was small so we were actually making good time! For those who are directionally challenged like myself, the Pope's Terrance is directly right of the main entrance of the Cathedral which has two water fountains. I had mistakenly walked to the left side (the side of where the ancient Roman gate was) and around the entirety of the structure which costed me some time!

Great family friendly tour - Great tour with lots of information. Most of the walking tour is centered around the Cathedral and the history of the city.

Best Guide in Cologne! - Sasha, our guide was PHENOMENAL! We enjoyed his stories and all the facts shared about this beautiful city! We had a lot of fun and probably one of the best guides we have ever had! If you come to Cologne, make sure you book your tour with Sasha! You will not be disappointed!

Cologne highlights city tour - We did the 2hr Cologne walking tour with Sascha earlier today. His depth of knowledge and understanding of historical politics was outstanding. The running commentary was lots of fun in English with German, Latin, Italian and American thrown in. Most enjoyable 2hrs.

Tour Guide Is a No Show! - We were so excited for our tour of Cologne! Our group of four took two trains from Frankfurt starting at 6:30am to arrive in Cologne in time for the tour. THE GUIDE NEVER SHOWED! I tried calling him three times and ultimately called Viator who also wasn’t able to reach the guide. Seven people were left extremely disappointed! What a crummy start to a vacation. We will think twice before using Viator in the future.

Choose someone else - Guide contacted me the night before asking to change the start time to later. I couldn’t because I had a train to catch. He agreed to the original time but then contacted me minutes before the paid tour and said his train would be late. I assume he knew the night before he wouldn’t be able to make it which is why he asked to change it. I said I would wait but he kept delaying. I gave myself the tour. He gave me a refund.
