Fantastic tour! - This was an incredible tour! Make sure to wear water shoes or sneakers you don’t mind getting wet to hike through the river and get to a gorgeous waterfall. (Not a long or hard hike, but over some rocks and water). Great food and experience with the Embera tribe too! Bring cash for handmade art.

Amazing hospitality - The Embera people are so Incredibly welcoming!! They safely guided us to a beautiful waterfall and prepared an amazing lunch. They even showed us traditional dances and invited us to dance with them. I was moved by their hospitality and would 100% recommend. The hike to the waterfall is a little tricky as you have to go through water and over rocks but it’s definitely worth it in the end!!

Fantastic Embera Community Experience - Tour guide Fernando was very friendly and informative. The tour was made better by the group of other people that came along with us. We got to view and bathe in the waterfall. Be sure to wear a water shoes or something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet. Ride in the canoe of the Embera village, get an understanding of their culture and way of living. Their fruits and dinner were tasty. Would definitely recommend touring with Fernando as he communicated with the Embera folks to make communication easier. We used Google Translate ourselves to communicate directly with the Embera community as some were bilingual (spanish and their native language).

A great experience - Amazing. Super attentive and solicitor guide. Village with great tourist structure and with warm welcome. Beautiful waterfall with trail that requires appropriate shoes, even being warned in advance.

Great day - It was fun and knowledgeable at the same time. The hike through nature was like nothing I know. Learning about the tribe and how they have adapted over time is remarkable but still remain to there culture

Amazing trip! Fun, exciting and educational! - Amazing time. Worth every penny. The experience of being on the river with a great guide in Alex who not only made the journey safe but also educational. To top it all going to the indigenous peoples village was just stunning. Highly recommend anyone visiting Panama to go on this excursion.

Important tour, wrong guide - Visiting the Embera village was a great experience but our tour guide Alex was very inattentive and disappeared for large periods of time and didn’t teach us anything about the community.
