A must do tour - Dan, was our guide and he was exceptional. The hotel pick up was seamless and he gave us a lot of history on the drive up. We thoroughly enjoyed the scenic boat ride up the river and the hike through the forest allowed us to see different trees & animals. Both Dan and Franklyn from the Embera village ensured we navigated over the rocks and mud safely. I went with my parents who are in their late 60s and they were able to manage the trek. The waterfall was so beautiful and refreshing. So dress accordingly, so you can take a dip. Afterwards we stopped in the Embera village and were able to witness the indigenous culture and practices. The food was so fresh and tasty. Walk with cash for the lovely handmade souvenirs. On the way back to the hotel Dan, made great recommendations for other Panama experiences. This tour was the highlight of our trip and I cannot recommend it enough.

“Breathtaking Views, Rich Culture, and an Exceptional Guide!” - We had an amazing time on this tour! Our guide, Dan, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate—he really brought the whole experience to life. He was right on time for pick-up and also a great driver, which made the journey smooth and comfortable. Taking the boat down the river was breathtaking, with such beautiful, scenic views all around. Visiting the Embera village was a truly special experience, and the lunch they provided was delicious! Dan also did an awesome job capturing the day with fantastic photos. We highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure!

Great day long outing to a waterfall and Embera village. Loved it!!! - This was an exceptional experience. Learned a ton about Panama from our guide Daniel. Took a relaxing boat ride, and then hiked to the waterfall. The hike was significantly harder than expected (and it was raining!), but Daniel stayed with and helped my 76 year old husband the entire time. We then went and had a delicious lunch at the Embera village. It really was an outstanding, fun and exhausting day. Worth every penny!

Great Tour - It was amazing. Dan was our tour guide and was very charismatic, informative and took the time to translate for us English speakers. The tour itself was not too difficult though we had to climb a few rocks, down some inclines and across/through the river (it got muddy); so do make sure to wear appropriate shoes (we wore water shoes and it turns out these were perfect). The rain poured but this kept us cool, it's a magical experience even with the ride on the motorized canopy. We highly recommend!

One of the Best Village tours I've had in My Life!!! - This is a Must Do Vacation tour. The Embera Village Endenginous people were so loving, kind, and very accommodating to our group as we visited the village and tribe. Their Handmade Art work and fabrics are 100+ in quality, design, and craftsmanship. I will visit them again soon.

Nice for tourist - It was a nice experience. Of course the folklore is customed for tourist but nice to experience overall. Our guide was not very talkative from the beginning (he was more doing his job as a driver) and we were lucky to find a guide from another group who provided information and translated what the member of the embera tribe was saying. I would say this excursion is not for elderdly people as you have to walk in the jungle and cross the river sometimes by walk.
