Must do experience - Loved everything about this tour. A few of the men meet you then board a canoe where they rowed us to the village where you are greeted by the Embera village with beautiful beats with drums and maracas even the children are involved. We then row & hike to a beautiful waterfall. The village performed for us & fed us a delicious meal. This by far was the best tour in Panama.

Amazing time! - Had such a great time on this excursion! The guide was very informative from the moment he picked us up he was pointing this out and sharing the history of Panama. The tribe was amazing! They do temporary tattoos and my husband and I both got one. Each family has a table where they sell things that they make. Wish we would have taken more money because they had alot of cool stuff there but we tried to spend a little at every table to help everyone out. Mosquitos were no joke so definitely bring spray! Would definitely do this again!!

Informative and educational - Our guide Enrique was very knowledgeable and funny. He had lots of stories to tell us. Our Emberá guide Eliese was so kind and helpful. We were welcomed by the people, young and old, learned about their history and ways of living. It was a beautiful day experiencing beautiful culture with beautiful people and the national park is worth the visit.

Tribesmen - Truly enjoy myself. Learned a lot about the community and the tribe and how hard they work to keep their traditions alive.

Our trip - The tour operator was very pleasant but there was a language barrier while traveling We are not sure the items for sale are truly as authentic as presented since you see them everywhere in panama tourist areas Regardless,we had a nice time

See the world - The tour overall was great! Pros: Embrera people were great and learned much about their history (especially the little ones running around), fresh food was tasty, river ride was relaxing, waterfall was amazing, everyone helped each other along the way Cons: the amount of hiking to get to the waterfall is not for the average person as if was rough terrain with strenuous climbs - that NNEDS to be in the description (at least 20 mins each way); and the goods for sale in the village seemed to be the same ones in all the trappy tourist shops so I’m curious about the authenticity/hand made. Ali, our tour guide was awesome! Ask for him.

Embera Indigenouse Cultural Tour - The visit to the Embera Village was very colorful and interesting. We also loved going to the waterfall, and swimming in the pool was fun. However, I would not recommend this guide, Ernesto. He gave us no information about the village. I would have liked to know about the social structure and the customs. The lunch he provided was only fruit. The trip description said we would be able to put on dry clothes before returning to Panama City. We were not given that opportunity. Ernesto was not the quality of guide we've had on other Viator tours.
