We had a wonderful tour... - We had a wonderful tour from Myriam to two villages outside of Colmar. She is knowledgeable and so friendly, answering all our questions and giving us so much interesting information and history about Alsace, wines, the vineyards, and the villages. The wine tasting was great, she took us to two wineries who gave us many tastings. We got to stop for pictures with grape vines along the way.

A perfect day - Husband and I signed up for the half day wine tour from Alsace. Arthur picked us up at the designated meeting point, he was prompt and we ended up on a private tour. The van was comfortable, he first took us to a lookout point overlooking the wine region. It was lovely, he pointed out the area sites and explained the qualities that make this region unique for growing certain grapes. We went to two wineries for tastings: Clos de la Treille, and Kaefferkopf. Both are family owned and run. The vintners each gave us a limited tour of their
wineries and we tasted about 5 wines at each. Both wineries produce excellent wines, we were very happy with the winery choices.
Arthur was an excellent tour guide. He spoke English very well and helped translate some of the vintners comments. He was patient, helpful, knowledgeable, and has a great personality for being a public guide. This was a wonderful half day tour!

A most enjoyable afternoon - My partner and I booked an afternoon tour and as it turned out, the second couple cancelled so we enjoyed a 'private' tour. Our driver/guide, Arthur, was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Alsace wines and after taking us to a hillside where we looked out to the Vosges mountains and an expanse of vineyards, we visited two wineries. At the first, we had the opportunity to meet with the winemaker and learn of how, over several generations, they operated vineyards and made wine. We were surprised at the expanse of production and enjoyed sampling his wines. At the second winery, a staff member guided us through a tasting of its wines and we purchase some for shipment home to Denmark. Overall, it was a most enjoyable afternoon and we want to thank Arthur for his generous sharing of a wealth of information, and we wish him well in his future travel.

Riesling and more! - Our guide, Miryam, was excellent! She shared lots of interesting information about the towns we passed through and the wines of the region. The van was very comfortable. It was a small group of 7 so plenty of attention was paid to participants. The 2 stops included 5 tastings each, so there was lots to compare. These families have been making wine through many generations and they take great pride in their work and products. A very enjoyable afternoon!

Great half day out amongst the vines. - It was great to get out of Colmar and visit a couple of small villages along with our tastings. The two tastings were quite different so good to compare and contrast.

Price performance was not right - Guide was not qualified. Only drinks during tastings. Nothing to neutralize. No bread, water or anything else. It was only after a complaint on my part that Mrs Herz brought a pack of salt pretzels. She was super nice. However, the guide Myriam inexperienced and criticism facing stubborn.
