Setting Sail with Billy Bones

The day began with a gentle breeze and the sun casting its golden glow over the marina. Lunch was a feast for the senses at Grand Case, where the aroma of grilled snapper and ribs filled the air. The Rainbow restaurant served up a culinary delight that satisfied every craving. As we lounged by the beach, the rhythmic beats of island tunes and the laughter of fellow travelers created a sense of camaraderie that only such shared experiences can bring.

The day concluded with a leisurely tour along the coastline, where Sammy and Charlie pointed out celebrity homes and shared stories of the island’s famous visitors. A quick stop at Maho Bay to watch planes land overhead was the cherry on top of an already perfect day.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the water, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the incredible day spent with Billy Bones. Sammy and Charlie’s hospitality and the breathtaking beauty of Sint Maarten made this adventure one for the books.
