Join one of our guided rafts down the 7-mile stretch of the Shoshone River in a thrilling 2-man inflatable kayak. This adventure amps up the excitement with an exhilarating whitewater experience. The Shoshone River offers stunning scenery, diverse wildlife, and exciting rapids. You’ll receive introductory instructions and safety gear for this journey. The rapids here are class 2s and 3s, providing a wild ride. At Red Canyon River Trips, “Safety” is our top priority. We ask our participants to stay within sight of the guide and follow instructions before tackling the rapids. For safety reasons, this option may be changed to a guided raft trip. Some prior whitewater rafting experience is recommended.

These tours are from 2 person self guided inflatable kayaks.These are what we at Red Canyon call Double Duckies or for some people Divorce Duckies lol!This lets you experience the excitement of a kayak but with a bit more stability.If you’re interested in intermediate kayaking you’re and looking for excitement then this maybe the way to go.Before we take off for this exciting adventure you’ll be given safety instructions and the equipment needed for this 7 mile adventure.The Shoshone River is filled with stunning scenery and cool rock formations as well as an abundant amount of wildlife.We ask our little “Duckies” to stay close to the leader in either a raft or kayak and you’ll be given the proper information to go through rapids such as”Colters Falls” and “Little Big Drop” before you go through.Safety always comes first at Red Canyon so we ask our guests to please listen to the instructions of the guides.
