A very enjoyable experience - We had a great tour with Phoebe. We were really lucky as it ended up being only our family of 4. We all enjoyed the tour, including our teens (difficult age to please) and would highly recommend it. The tour lasts about 2h30. We saw pronghorns antelopes and a pack of mustangs from a respectful distance. We learnt their names (loved the foal Bon Jovi). We enjoyed walking out to see them and felt safe throughout with Phoebe (this is also rattlesnakes territory but thankfully we didn’t spot any). We also learnt a lot about local legends and the surrounding mountains. My tip: wear long trousers and high boots as the prickly pears are best avoided.

Mustang Fun - Seeing about 8 bands of mustangs! Deanna was an awesome guide, friendly and knowledgeable. She was very considerate of my husband, who walks slower and needs help in and out of van.

Awesome experience, must do! - This was an absolutely awesome experience. Our guide Olivia was experienced and knowledgeable on the area, where to find the mustangs and history of the area and the mustangs. Not only did we get to see two herds, but she also took us to see the badlands (think South Dakota). The first herd we saw was a grouping of 3 Stallones. They were at the edge of a river and went out of sight shortly after we got there. We all got a viewing, and most got pictures. The second herd was about 40 Mustangs. Several smaller herds together. This included a large white stallion (there is a story to go along with him). There were a couple of yearlings, some paints. We were just about at the closeness limit of 300 feet. We all had plenty of time for photos and to watch their behavior. The spotting scope was nice to get real close views. The vehicle was a tall 15-passenger van that was very comfortable. Most of the drive is on dirt roads that are not smooth. Not 4 wheeling by any means, so don't worry about that. I would highly encourage this tour. There are no guarantees of seeing mustangs, but a knowledgeable tour guide (and a good spotter) increases your chances of success. Wild animals are not on a schedule, so a bad review for not seeing any mustangs is really a bit cheeky. I will do this tour again the next time we are here. An absolute must do! Alex and Kelly from Spokane.

Fantastic guide, excellent tour of the wild horses, great family trip! - Sunny was our guide and she was amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the land, laws, and horses, and was so personable. She got us close (but in a safe, legal distance) to the horses, and ensured we got a family photo together! Can’t imagine a better experience.

Vacation 2023 - The ride was great. Our guide, Steve. Was Awesome. He gave great information about the area and the horses. Our tour was after alot of rain in the area so the horses were not real active and stayed far in the background. So if you go be sure to take binoculars or a professional camera because the phone camera doesn't take good pictures that far away. We did seen quite a few Prong Horns. Beautiful animals. We had a great time and had a great tour guide. Thank you for having this tour service.

WOW - Sorry for the late review. Camped in Yellowstone so we didn’t have any service. But took a morning tour of the Mustangs on the 23 of May. I’m not the kind of person that does reviews very often but this tour was Great. I got to see three different herds or Bands as our Guide explained. It was amazing to see wild horses for the first time. Our guide Showed up wearing a black cowboy hat that just add to the presentation of the tour the young man gave so much information I felt like my head was going to burst. We saw two horses close to the road but for our safety (our guide told us we had to stay 300 feet away from them) since we were closer than that, we stayed in the van and drove by slow. I got good pictures as you can see. The when we were far enough away we stopped and got out. I was glad to hear that the horses were left alone for the most part to be as wild as they possibly could be. Only thing That could have been better is the van was old and falling apart. But I would definitely would go again.

Underwhelming, to say the least - Wasn’t worth the $315 for my family of 4! Saw a few horses but mostly 4 wheeled through the desert trying to get closer to no avail.

Not recommended - Owner tried to get u to change from 5pm to 8am. Then when I told him that time was not realistic. We would have needed to leave our current hotel at 3:30am, I offered to cancel. He said he’d call me by noon the next day if he needed to cancel. No call. We were the only two on the tour. Got there early and met owner, not very friendly. Guide was nice enough, but had no idea what he was doing. When we finally found two old stallions, he was as excited as we were. Would not recommend.

Big waste of money! - Don’t waste your money. Guide did not know where horses were. Drive off road to very bumpy area. Horses were miles away! We could have used our own car to do this.
