Cork by Darren - Great time!! Best way to see the Cork area is with Darren. Incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. You’ll see sights you just don’t get to see without a local personal guide. Highly recommend.

It is so great to spend the day with a local. - We really enjoyed our day with Darren. We felt safe and cared for. He made sure that we saw the most and made the most of our visit. He was attentive to our requests and catered our tour to what we told him was most important to us.

Exceptional Day in Cork - Darren gave us an exceptional tour including all of the highlights and stunning views of the scenery, lunch in a local village driving through country roads to get there. He shared wonderful knowledge of the area and its history, while also giving us an idea of current life in Southern Ireland. Darren managed our time perfectly and we never felt rushed. We missed the crowds which made the tour feel very personal. Also of note was his expert driving-very smooth and we felt safe. It was a pleasure spending our day with Darren and we would highly recommend booking with him if you get the chance. Our day in Cork is a highlight of our trip.

Excellent and worthwhile tour - We'd give Darren ten stars if we could! We so enjoyed our tour- we feel so lucky that Darren was available to show us around Kinsale, Cobh and of course, get us to Blarney Castle early to avoid the crowds. This was by far the best tour we had during our trip to Ireland- worth every penny- and we would book it again in a heartbeat. Darren is professional, personable and knowledgable, and was very flexible and accommodating to our needs . The next time we are in the Cork area and want to explore- Darren is going to be our first call!

Fantastic Tour with Darren - Darren Haddock was our guide and he was amazing - everything you expect in a tour guide. He was prompt, he was knowledgeable, engaging and extremely organized. Communication prior to the tour was on spot, he knew when we were arriving. We were so happy to be in a private tour so we could go where the large tour buses couldn't.
Darren is great in getting you to the Blarney Castle before all the large tour busses get there so that we had VERY little wait to kiss the Blarney Stone. The park around the castle was so beautiful and serene. Darren had planned the schedule extremely well and had arranged a lunch at a wonderful seaside place, and even reserved a specific table to maximize the view. He took us to all the important places, many which a tour bus could not go. The views we had of the surroundings on our journey were just incredible!!! Thank you Darren for a wonderful experience!!

Blarney Castle and Kinsale. - Darren is awesome! He was great on our trip. Every trip we do one private tour. This was one of our favorites. He picked us up earlier to avoid the cruise crowd. We did not stand in line to kiss the Blarney stone. He took us off the beaten path for some wonder food where the locals go no where near a town. Amazing muscles! Thank you Darren for a wonderful day!

Incredible private tour of Cork and surroundings - Great tour of Cork and it's surroundings. Darren has a good and comfortable taxi where i sat on the front and my wife and the two teenagers sat in the back. As soon as I did the reservation, i got a confirmation from Darren with all the clear instructions on the meetup point. He recommended to go first and early to blarney castle and avoid the lines. That was a great suggestion as it quickly got crowded and we avoided having to queue up long to go uo the tower. We drove around the countryside and enjoyed the great scenery. Darren recommended a very nice restaurant, with incredible view of the coast and reserved the best table in the place. The prices were good and the food was amazing and fresh and they provided good service. Then we went to get some great picture opportunities and views that we wouldn't get in other tours and avoided the crowds. We had the chance to see also a memorial for the fallen firefighters on the first day of the 9-11 attack on the twin towers. We had an incredible day in Cork as we came in a cruise and wanted to have a great experience. Darren was a very good guide.

Darren is the BEST! - Darren is the absolute best! He was so helpful when we were in the planning stages as well. This was our first visit to Ireland & he made sure all three of us - me, my husband and our 11 year old daughter - were happy the whole time. He got us first in line at Blarney Castle, went on to Kinsale for the best lunch seaside & he made a point to take us to the best spots for photos. We had already gone to Cobh the day before our tour with Darren - highly recommend going there if it’s part of your tour. I would book this tour with Darren again if we come back to the area 10/10!

Highly recommend - I can’t say enough good things about Darren our tour guide. He was so personable and friendly, guiding us through our day. We will be booking with Darren again! Thank you for showing us sights such as the 911 Memorial Garden that we never would have discovered on our own.
